Critic reviews

"If you're looking for some sexy summer listens, you'll want to check out the new audiobook series, Krinar Chronicles. Author Anna Zaires brings you a kind of 50 Shades of Grey meets Star Trek tale..." ( Marie Claire)
"For diehard fans of the paranormal romance genre, author Anna Zaires's risqué new audiobook could be your next guilty pleasure. Zaires's most recent read, Close Liaisons, combines a love story with science fiction in the tale of Mia, an unassuming college student whose life gets suddenly entangled in a dangerous, otherworldly affair." ( Woman's Day)

I loved the ending of this series, I'm hoping and praying it's not the end of the story line by any means though as there are many new characters and plots to draw from.....I'll be waiting!

Saved the best for last......

Well a HEA ending to beat all other HEA endings but what Korum and Mia had to endure in order to finally get there is out of this world - literally.

At last we hear Korum's POV and what an amazing, gifted, loveable, drool-worthy, sexy, sweetie he has turned out to be as everything he does, he does for his love of Mia. They have truly grown as a couple who are deeply in love despite the obstacles of memory loss, a K traitor, the battle in the arena and meeting the all powerful Elders for a life changing decision. As they travel from NYC, Costa Rica and eventually the Krinard home planet the gifted author infuses the action-packed storyline with plot twists, genius inventions, paints a new world which is richly described in great detail and entwines it all in a very hot, romantic, passionate and truly exceptional love story that has overcome so much, including attitude and species differences, and I'm sure it's a love that will stand the test of time.

My one slight complaint is that the whole series would have been even better if it had been spoken by the same narrator and a more competent one too.

Worth a credit? I have lived with this series for some time now loving all it's many good and bad characters together with their highs and lows so I've been truly emotionally thrilled, chilled, captivated, enthralled and The Krinar Chronicles have deeply moved me so I am very sorry to have to say goodbye.

PLEASE PLEASE TELL ME THERE'S MORE BEING WRITTEN

I really enjoyed this entire series given I am normally not into or even like Sci Fi in the least. There were portions of the story line that were complete fantasy which I enjoyed. To my surprise, I found myself questioning and thoughtfully contemplating outside my normally "very squared" box at some of the other portions of this story. One complaint would be that the ending was lacking in some fashion to be a fitting finale for these MCs after what all happened. Personally, I just felt a bit void or deflated at the end even though it was romantic and perfect. It felt rushed given all the extreme conflicts that Korum & Mia dealt with and over came during this series, they deserved a bit better "heart felt" send off. That said, I really loved this whole series and I would recommend it, my feeling on the end does not hinder my opinion on the story as a whole.

Great Story!

I like the stories but now they changed narrators & this one is as bad as the first one. Mia the main character doesn't even sound like a 21 yr old modern girl would sound. The narrator runs all her sentences together. She doesn't pause enough between sentences & she doesn't make the men sound masculine enough. You can tell its a very mature woman just reading us a story. I have come to expect more from audio books.

Geezzzz! Narrators just get worse & worse!

First, I love this series. I truly wish that the author would write something that happens after the end of this story, maybe something about their children and the empire that was talked about. Either way, Mia and Korum's story is amazing and I love the fact that you get to learn so much about both characters, their family's and their pasts. I also really enjoyed reading about Krina, the things that exist there, and the journey that they went on. The only thing about this story that I didn't like was, Saret. I mean, what a bonehead. What he tried to do to Mia and Korum, or rather what he actually did, was just tragic, not to mention his 'grand' plans for both races. I mean, he had some seriously demented ideas, and he actually thought she would understand it, even like it. He was nuttier than a jar of Jif Extra Chucky Peanut Butter. Anywho, the author did an amazing job.

Love this series!

I really like these books. The story is great, angsty. I love an alpha male but it's the third narrator and that just throws me off. The whole point of audio to me is having the narrator bring the story to life. And I like getting used to my H & h voices or sounds. And it drives me nutz when there are different narrators because they each read differently and put different inflections on words. I would much rather read the trilogy then listen to 3 different people read the 3 separate books.

Third book third narrator a little disappointed

this was a very sexy story that encompassed some deep moral and ethical issues. It was not only extremely hot and steamy, but also very smart.
