About this listen

Quinn:

Straining my groin is bad enough. It puts my hockey career, my future, but even worse, my dignity on the line.

Having to get massages in that area from Vance Landon, one of the team trainers, is mortifying.

It’s impossible to hide my feelings toward him. If my constant blushing and bumbling doesn’t give it away, my body does.

It’s getting to the point where I wonder if hockey is even worth the embarrassment.

Trying to avoid him only makes him seek me out more. He’s determined to rehab my injury, but all I want is for him to leave me alone.

Or fall for me.

One or the other.

Vance:

Ayri Quinn isn’t your typical jock...except for the fact he refuses to admit when he’s injured.

I’ve seen more than enough professional sportsmen lose the career they love due to injury, and I’m not having it happen again.

Especially not when the guy in question happens to be the sweetest, most awkward, innocent jock I’ve ever met.

When a night out leads to Quinn reinjuring himself, I create a care plan that keeps me hands on, literally. Unfortunately, working with him in close proximity brings all those feelings I’ve been trying to ignore to the surface.

I just need to get him better, so he can be back on the ice and out of my bed.

Ah, my massage bed.

Because if this goes on any longer, I might mean my actual bed.

Ayri Quinn is impossible to resist.

I hope these two never stop writing!

Love the authors! Love the universe they've built (together and on their own) and how all the characters cross over. It makes the stories so much richer. And the narration is spot on as always. Can't wait for the next one!

Quinn!!!!

Gah! I think my face still hurts from smiling after listening to Quinn and Vance’s book! Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese continue to bring it with each Puckboy they narrate. They drew me into the story, as always, and nailed it until the end. I was so looking forward to getting to know Ayri Quinn and as usual Eden and Saxon did not disappoint. Getting to know Ayri also came with more Asher Dalton and I was so there for that. If possible I loved Asher more than I did before, and Quinn became a new favorite. Asher was merciless in his teasing of Quinn’s crush on Vance, their hockey trainer, and poor Quinn was adorably mortified of Vance and his healing hands. Vance for his part took Quinn’s rambling incoherence and avoidance in stride, until he finally put his foot down on getting Quinn’s groin pull healed. It was great fun with Vance learning of Quinn’s crush and those two adorably dancing around each other. Within all that we are treated to more of The Queer Collective, which was as amazing as you’d expect. We had fantastic cameos from Ezra and Anton, Aleks and Gabe, Foster and Zach and even West. Vance was absolutely adorable in his unwavering support of Quinn and his quest to heal, but also return to the hockey machine he was. His tolerance of all things hockey superstition was great fun, and I couldn’t help but love how he rolled with it all. I loved seeing Quinn and Vance find their HEA together and I’m so excited to know there is more in this series!

Nice love story

I'm not a sports fan, but this story wasn't over the top with references. All reference was story specific and enriched the story. It was a very nice love story.

Quinn and Vance

"𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙘𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙯𝙚. 𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙗𝙚 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙚𝙙 𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮 𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙉𝙃𝙇 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙨 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙡𝙚𝙮 𝘾𝙪𝙥."

Quinn has had a thing for Vance and every time he is around him he becomes a bumbling mess. Vance can't understand why Quinn has issues around him until he overhears Quinn admitting he has a thing for Vance. Quinn gets injured and needs assistance so Vance offers to be the one to help him before he realizes how hard it will be to stay professional.

I could not stop laughing while listening to this book. Quinn is so awkward at the beginning whenever he's around Vance which is so cute but he quickly opens up once he and Vance start spending time together which ramps up the banter and heat. Of course, the collective makes their presence known and are just as meddling as usual. I can not wait for the next Puckboys book.

Iggy Toma and Alexander Cendese did a great job as usual bringing the story and characters to life. There was one spot where Alexander didn't quite nail the character but I was able to move past that since it was a small part.

CLUELESS PUCKBOY by Eden Finley & Saxon James, book five in the Puckboys series, is Quinn and Vance's mm, age gap, sports (hockey), workplace story told in the dual first-person point of view.

Shy Boi central!

Quinn is such an awkward, shy boy. It's so different from some of the others in the series. When he hurts himself and has to see the hot medical professional? He is a goner. The are just to cute when they try to deny that they like the other. Plus, we see a side of Asher that doesn't get seen often! As always, the narrators for this series are easily my favorites to listen to!

I’m so in love with this series!

This series just keeps getting better and better with each couple’s story. Love Vance and Aryi… Aryi so funny and ridiculous and Vance just adores his ridiculous. My fav part was Aryi’s “cheat” confession fiasco. lol! On to the final book but definitely going to be revisiting this crew again and again!

Caution - Don't drink while listening

Y'all, I made a rookie mistake! I tried to drink water while listening and tried to drown myself! learn from me, pause the book first!

Narrators are on point and you can humor from the authors will have you giggling and laughing. No third act break up, guaranteed HEA. Another awesome installment of Puck Boy's. Can't wait for the next one!
