About this listen

Being an identical twin doesn't come without issues. No one can tell us apart, not even our parents sometimes. We don't usually use that to our advantage, but it comes in handy when my brother needs help breaking up with his boyfriends - which happens more than I'd care to admit.

I know it's enabling him, but I can't say no to Anders. I will do anything for my twin. The breakups always go the same; they're swift and simple. Until Reed. He's everything I've fantasized about but never allowed myself to have.

When I give in to temptation and begin to freak out, it's not because he's a guy. It's because he thinks I'm my brother, and I can't bring myself to tell him the truth.

Contains mature themes.

Eden Finley creates character you will fall for!

Eden Finley creates characters that you fall for, get frustrated with, hurt for, and rejoice with!
Law:
So many things to say about Law. He is one of those characters that you simultaneously want to cheer for, want to hug, and want to slap upside the head at the same time! He has a heart of gold and gives so much of himself to those he loves he sometimes forgets that he deserves everything too. I dare you not to fall for him.
Reed:
He endeared himself to me when he admitted that he needed a friend in a direct and guileless way. I think the true representation of Reed is the way he is with his students. He puts all of himself into making a difference in their lives.

Take these two amazing individuals and put them together and you have a couple that you want to cheer for. There is frustration you want to yell at them and tell them to talk to each other! That comes from the desire to want them happy and together. Give these two a chance like they did for each other!

What I liked about the narrators were the accents it was nice to hear and of course some accents are sexy...hint this is one of them. Another thing I love is when the book is dual perspective having 2 narrators really complete the experience!

Volume not balanced

Too quiet and even quieter. The narrations need to be calibrated to the same volume at least

Loved this one!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this one! It pulled me in and had me engaged with law and his twin, Anders, very quickly. Law is pulled in to helping his brother break up with another man due to issues after a horrible experience for him a few years ago that has affected both of them. When Anders ends up calling Law to step in and call an end to a blind date that he can't walk into the restaurant for, he meets Reed. He ends up pretending to be Anders but instead of just cancelling the dinner and walking away they end up heading to Reed's place for a one night stand which is Law's first experience with another man. Their chemistry is off the charts and it and so they both go for it. Law never expected to see him again, though Reed put out that he would like to be friends. That is, until Reed walks into Law's dojo with the highschooler LGBTQ+ group that he teaches once a week and he can't pretend to be Anders so now he is interacted with Reed as both. Law really likes Anders and the more they get to know each other the more that grows but he has gotten himself into a situation that he doesn't know how to get out of with the whole identity situation. He doesn't want to lose or hurt Reed and he doesn't know how to come clean without losing him and so he keeps his mouth shut. I really enjoyed both Law and Reed and loved watching them build their friendship and relationship. Things end up coming to a head and everything comes out. This story was easy to engage with and get lost in. I wasn't ready to leave these two but very happy when they finally figured things out and worked through it. I can't wait for Anders' story!
The narrators did a phenomenal job with the characters and the accents to really bring the story to life. They did such a good job with the action and emotions throughout the story as well and really brought it to life and added that extra dynamic!

Had potential

This had potential and could’ve been great but it was missing something. And the narration was off. Joel as slats was awesome, Antony not so much.

love the story not the narrators

Unfortunately not a fun of the narrating. They made it difficult to distinguish characters and what was inner dialog and conversations.

needed more

I love Eden Finley's books. She has unique storylines and interesting characters. Mistaken identity with twins is an idea that I hadn't come across before.
The Reed chapters annoyed me technical wise. They were softer sounding and I kept having to stop and adjust the volume.

Why are these books so good?!

Is it possible to infuse words with crack cocaine, because Eden Finley's books are so freaking addictive! I loved this series and the voice actors did a phenomenal job. Now I'm on my way to read the fake boyfriend series, read with passion, A.

Twin Switch

This was a good story that had the potential to be great! Loved the whole twin switch and the chemistry was hot. I new going in it was going to be a quickie. it just all felt a bit to rushed. Narration was good. I love Joel Leslie and could listen to him perform all day, it just to me a little bit too warm up to Antony Ferguson. I'm excited to get into Anders book next.
