She made her choice. She took a stand. Now she must face the consequences.
After a failed overthrow attempt on Elderon, Maggie is Mordecai’s prisoner. Her trust in Jonah has been shattered, and now she finds herself questioning everything.
Meanwhile, back on Earth, Tripp’s troubles are far from over. He has a plan to throw Mordecai’s fortress into chaos, but he’s being hunted by deadly assassins.
When their actions trigger a disaster on Elderon, Maggie, Jonah, and Tripp will have to work together to defeat Mordecai and his army of bots. To dismantle the machine, they’ll have to target the man. But can they save Elderon and save the world?
In this thrilling conclusion to The Elderon Chronicles, friendships will be tested, love will flicker and burn, and mankind’s greatest achievement could be its undoing.

The storyline based on highly advanced robotics, information exploitation and the space station Elderon continues to be an exciting and suspenseful journey with Maggie, Jonah, Tripp and Mordecai. The central and periphery characters are well described and developed with many being very engaging. Personally, I did not ship Maggie and Jonah AT ALL and would dread an overbearing, closed-off, and manipulative personality like that being involved with my girls. Tripp on the other hand was charming. I did not get Maggie's connection to Jonah at all and he seriously annoyed me from Book 1-5. But there are so many other likable and quirky characters to journey with in this series. I am just disappointed Jonah did not get sucked out of the Station into space in Book one or at least two.
Tarah Bennet creates a futuristic society that is fraught with complications of advanced technologies and the deviations of a madman. I have great admiration for her skill in the creation of an advanced society and the dangers that can evolve from advancements that are initially viewed as positive. The series winds up neatly in this book with heartfelt losses and betrayals balanced by new beginnings and resolutions.
As always, the narrator of an audiobook defines the series and the Elderon Chronicles is elevated throughout by the talent of Jacqueline DeGraff.

Everything is breaking apart and the team is doing everything possible to hold it together. I love the action in this book and how the characters face the consequences of their actions from over the years. Everything comes together perfectly and it is just precious when a nice little twist is threaded into the story.
