up to the standard I have come to expect. Read her others instead. If you are looking for literary BDSM, this one is not that.

Not

I loved the story. I I just think it would have been better with a male narrator for Bron's part.

Great storyline

The storyline started off slowly but soon picked up. Turned out to be really interesting and I loved the intrigue and the twists and turns. Braun and Cariss were perfect for each other.

Long Series But Worth The Time

I have become a fan of M. S. Parker's writing. I have listened to a lot of her books and they have all been good. her narrations however are not up to the quality of her writing and beyond the performance aspect, the recording quality is subpar. I would love to see Audible studios rerecord this with some of their great talent. The writing really is worth it.

Good story with bad narrator

The narrator needs to take a class on reading. The narration was mechanical and at times painful to listen to. The story itself is decent.

Decent story. Horrible narrator

I'm not one to berate or insult anyone for how they read, but I can say, M.S. Parker really needs to stick to writing. Her narration was elementary. Her writing is really good, always is. But the narration outweighed the writhing. I can't honestly say I remember much of it of the book, but I had to stick it out to finish the book. The storyline really is good.

Sadly, Alexa can narrate better

Story is a refreshing one. Although it does drag here and there.... You never know if there was an inside informant in the FBI....

Good story

The story was interesting, well written, and overall enjoyable. That said, the narration was painful. The reading was just that...no distinction between characters; flat, ridiculously staccato reading; mispronounced words; improper phrasing that required listener to figure out the intended sentence. Fortunately, the book was good enough to tolerate the narrator.

Good story! Painful narration!

The story line was good and kept me very interested. The reader was so flat that I almost turned the book off. Please get a different reader than the author for any future books.

Good writing and story line terrible reading

DNF. This may have been a decent book but I could not get past the very boring tone of the author narrating her own book. No change in voices. No inflections. Narration makes or breaks an audiobook and this one is broke. I see there are other books/series this author wrote and narrates. I will not easy my time on any of those.

M S Parker should stick to writing
