About this listen

Ariel

I would like to say we were old lovers. That once upon a time he was my everything, and I was his, but that would be a lie. He may have been mine, but I wasn’t his. I was his sister’s annoying little friend who he didn’t even know was in love with him.

Years later, after seeing him again for the first time, nothing has changed. Except now, he notices me, and I will do everything in my power to avoid him. Because Falcon is the most conceited man on this planet, and because when he looks at me with steel eyes, my heart still misses a beat.

Falcon

I get what I want, and I’m never denied anything either. It’s my charm. It’s hard to say no to something you never knew you desired until I’m standing in front of you. That’s not just who I am, it’s what I do. I help men achieve everything they have ever wanted.

Most people would go to great lengths to be near me. Yet, my sweet Ariel, I can’t even get her to stay in the same room as me. Maybe it’s because I told her I would be the best lay of her life - that has to be it - and once I’m finished with her, she’s avoiding being disappointed by every other man for the rest of her life.

It couldn’t possibly be anything else, because let’s face it, I’m perfect.

All audiobooks in the series can be listened to as stand-alone stories.

Story good

The story is really good. The narration, not so much. No feeling in them at all.

A good obvious listen

Nothing major happens in this book. All Falcon does is have sex with women. Tons of them. That's his thing. So it was hard to believe that he will now be monogamous.

I didn't really feel the chemistry between the two. Hot scenes were 🔥hot but lacking chemistry.

Ava Erickson did an amazing job narrating however I could not get into Alec Cendese's voice. He's male and female voice were off. Since Ava voiced both male and female as well, she should have done the whole book.

I really enjoyed the first two books. This one not so much.

Cute story.

The story is was cute, not my favorite of the series though. I do have to call out, as others have, the major mistake of using the wrong name for Echo’s girlfriend from the second book, calling her the name of his ex. Confusing and a bit annoying.

Needs reworking

Author definitely got names mixed up.

Wasn’t my favorite from the series but hoping the next makes up for it.

Mix-up in correctors names

A few times they are speaking about Storm but keep calling her Salina and once they called Falcon, Storm. Need to go back and fix these issue. It confuses the story.

love it

love the voices( The male doing the female voices in the female doing the male voices was a little bit off parentheses but other than that love. I adore the plot, it was funny , sexy and that it didn't take to long . Will re read again!

The male narrator gave me pause

Ok so I'm just gonna state the obvious Alexander sounds like Tommy from Power and yes I did a double take at the fact that someone flubbed up with the editing. This was definitely not the best book in the series.

Only complaint

My only complaint about this audio book is chapter 11 when the constantly messes up storms name. That’s it if they fix that chapter then the book is perfect

Painful narration !!!

The male narration does not suit. The first book in the series had spot on male narration, it matched up with the personalities of the characters very well.
This one … not so much … very nice voice but women do not generally talk like drama queens and the lead male sounded too silly.

narration

I'm wondering that it must not be possible to have the same people doing the voices for every book in a series. The voices for some of the characters were meh and others I allowed myself to get used to for the sake of the story. overall though I enjoyed the book. I think though that I may have preferred to read this one than listen.
