Listening to this brought out every emotion tenfold - that ending left me in tears and I’m so glad the final book is out soon.

Miles and Cade have been through so much. The plotting between House Bartlett and Declan, House Morrison’s ambitions, the poisoning of magic… I wish I could say it only gets better from here, but I have a feeling book 3 will be just as difficult before they get a HEA.

I loved it but to much relationship drama. Way over done . Half the book filled with it. The ending was predictable. More relationship drama.

I love the story.

the ending was very disappointing, I am not looking forward to reading the third book now. I wanted a no matter what we will figure things out, not a hunger games between pita and kaitness book that the author has worked up too. so disappointed.

great narration, story was disappointing

This story is a continuation of the first book in the series. It ends in another cliffhanger. I don’t like that since the third book is unavailable.

This is another cliffhanger and the third book isn’t available.

I honestly think Kai Butler is one of my all-time favorite authors. Both of her audio series are incredibly well written and dense with lore that is unwound slowly as the story progresses. I’m definitely able to listen to these books over and over again and appreciate something new each and every time. This book’s end was more heart wrenching than I can even handle. I will be waiting in fraught anticipation for the third book of this series to be released!

The story becomes even more addictive!

I reall enjoy this series, they would make a really good movie series. Although movie are usually never as good as book, but I would love a gay romance fantasy movie series. We have very little gay movies for our community.

l love this series so far, and i am sure I'll love the rest

Man did this leave me wanting more. I am totally enjoying this series but I expected no less from KB ☺️

Can’t wait for the next one!

The only thing I don’t like is that I have to wait to find out what happens in the next one. I read this book and the first one within a week. I thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

Perfect Sequel
