About this listen

The first time I met Alessio Russo I was 18. He’d barged into my room. I yelled. He yelled. We argued.

I slammed the door into the jerk’s face. Then I discovered that the drool-worthy prick was my best friend’s oldest brother—who had connections to Cassio King and the mafia. The freaking mafia!

The second time I saw him was at his mother’s funeral. He didn’t seem to recognize me. Or so I thought until we ended up tangled up between the sheets and he referred to our first encounter.

The next time we saw each other was at his father’s funeral—the funeral of the very same man that had threatened my life.

It turned out Alessio Russo was a gentleman even when he was a savage. We bickered. We kissed. We fought. We made love.

He thrilled me and scared me. Still, we slowly started to find a way to each other, but before I had a chance to come clean with him, I had to leave the country.

Then all hell broke loose.

WoW

I love Eva Winners writing style. She puts just enough of everything into her books that keeps you coming back for more. Eventually I’m going to go back and read in order of books and not just the series 😉

Enjoyable

This was good. It took me awhile to get into it though. There was something about the timelines and flashback that kept throwing me off. Overall it was a decent story though.

The audiobook narration was good. I love Brooke Daniels and Aiden Snow is one of my favorite narrators. They fit the characters so well.

I received a review copy from Pink Flamingo Productions in exchange for my honest review.

Kept me in my toes!

I enjoyed how the book started out in past tense then it went back into the beginning and total story and how it unfolded, and I enjoyed the ending.

Contract of a Billionaire

My first 🎧book by Ms. Winners and it didn’t disappoint. Bravo 🙌🏼 Ms. Winners for choosing to make this 🎧book a duet narration with the perfect combo of Aiden Snow😮‍💨& Brooke Daniels❣️😍 I enjoyed just about everything this book offered I just wished it wasn’t so long winded & a bit repetitive at times other than that it was great…I especially love the HEA. Is it worth a credit? Yes Love it sure was❣️

Loved the story and it's narrators!

My only con for this story was howamy times they repeated the past. I felt like each chapter started with a "in case you missed it" or "on last week's episode..". Other than that I loved it all.

Very, very good.

The last 1/4 of this book drive it home for me. A super creative and unique plot twist makes this one of the better stories in the genre of late. Add stellar voice talent and true DUET narration and it’s a solid 5 for performance and 4.5 for the story.

Through Thick & Thin… Their Love Survived 💞

The novel starts off rough… totally unexpected circumstances… never saw that one coming. Alessio the main male character is a dominant, possessive bad boy with ties to the mafia while Autumn… well she is innocent, yet adventurous and wild.

Their story is brought to life by the excellent duet narration that keeps you on the edge of your seat with the steamy and hot 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 sexy scenes… and a deep seductive male voice that melts you away. Overall the author did a great job with the storyline and the development of its characters with supporting characters from her other novels. Love the happy ending!

But… SPOILER ALERT…
The novel never says what happens to the people that were rescued, and Alessio never says thanks to the guy who kept Autumn safe… don’t think I missed that part, never heard him say it. Also, no epilogue… would have loved to find out what happens next with the happy couple. Other than these few things it was a roller coaster ride from start to finish!

Addicting

Wow this book was a winner from start to finish. Eva Winners is starting to become a one click buy for me. This book was a fast paced read that will keep you tangled up with these characters from start to finish. The story will captivate you and pull you into their world. I love that we got to see characters from other stories in this book as well. It was great seeing them again. Alessio made Autumn his since she turned 18 when he first laid eyes on his sisters best friend. But waited patiently until the time was right to claim her, only for his father to cause problems once again. Autumn is determined to save the world one picture at a time. Especially after her broken heart. I listened to this book on audible and will continue to do as these narrators bring so much life to the characters. I loved the suspense and growth of the characters as you read. This story is steamy and burns up the pages. I loved Alessio even when you think he has done the ultimate betrayal. Autumn is a strong woman but still needs a man who will burn the world down for her. I can't wait to move on to the next book.

I wasn't thrilled with it.

I think that the downfall to this book was the narration by Aidan Snow. The lines as cheesy as they were written, were accented by the terrible draw and narration. The book lacked any storyline underlying. The characters were non-dimensional. would not reccomend.
