Publisher's summary

We're the D'Artigo sisters: sexy, savvy ex-operatives for the Otherworld Intelligence Agency. But being half-human, half-Fae means our powers go haywire at all the wrong times. My sister Delilah is a Death Maiden and werecat who belongs to the Autumn Lord. My sister Menolly is a vampire who's dating a gorgeous werepuma, and the godfather of the undead-set. And me? I'm Camille, Priestess of the Moon Mother, married to a dragon, a youkai, and a Svartan. But my dragon father-in-law has decided that he doesn't like having me for a member of the family....

It's Winter Solstice, and Aeval welcomes me into her Court of Darkness. With Morio still dangerously weak from his injuries and Vanzir alive only thanks to my silence, the thought of training under Morgaine doesn't seem as daunting as it did. But then, Hyto returns to shatter my life. Captured and swept off to the Dragon Reaches, can I manage to stay alive long enough to escape?

Spend some more time with the Sisters of the Moon.

Good addition but beware of triggers

This book is a great addition to the series, but like the rest of the recent books this one has a lot of sec including group sex. More than that this book includes rape, torture and humiliation through sex and pain by one of the bad guys. The screens are well written which can make it harder to read. Keep that in mind if that could be a trigger for you .

great series

I am enjoying this series a great deal.  I like how the author gives each sister a book to tell their part of the story and thst the characters are carried through out the series.  That said Deliah is my least favorite character, which makes her books less enjoyable.  She is a very whiny. selfish individual who has no self control.  I could do without all the litterb talk as well.  Great series and well written books. But Deliah needs to get s grip and stop being a selfish brat

I got a whole new appreciation for Camille

The Otherworld Series is Unique as the books are consecutively narrated by one of 3 half human, half fairy sisters. Camille is a witch, Delilah is a were cat and Menoly is a vampire. It is easy to pick one sister as your favorite, and one as your least favorite. My least favorite has always been Camille. But this book shook that up. Camille is the strongest out of the 3 sisters, and it usually falls upon her to shoulder some of both of her sister’s burdens. While this book is still action packed, we see a vulnerability in Camille that we have not seen before. It shows that even the strongest of us can shatter, and need some help collecting the pieces. We also learn a lot about Smoky's own vulnerabilities. We learn of his past, and how he became the man/dragon he is now. And we get to meet his parents!
The narrator, Cassandra Campbell is wonderful as always! She can sound gentle and feminine one minute, and gruff, angry and very masculine the next. She can portray elated passion as well as crushing misery.
You have to read these books in order, the first is Witchling. Yasmine Galenorn is a writer that makes her story flow like music, and Cassandra Campbell performs it beautifully.

haven't been able to put the series down

They're 20+ books in This series & though I must admit I have, more than once thought "after this book, I think I need to take a narration/narrator break," she's constantly pronouncing words incorrectly, putting the emphasis on the wrong syllables, and giving the words spoken to the wrong characters ex; "when Chase & the guys had been at the Victorian home the sisters share, the night before Iris got married. Delilah picked up the phone to Yugi saying he needs them, especially CHASE because the SUP. counsel building had been bombed." Later that chapter (or early in the next) she read that the call came from Chase. mixing up names with who is speaking can get very confusing.
Also the confusing of voices, especially with the sisters & their lovers, it almost seems as if she's forgotten the original voice she's given to the individual characters, this also can be quite.... confusing....
However, with all that said, I'm still going through the books in the series & I have every intention of finishing all available books in the series, & maybe finding the half books as they are actually relevant to the overall story, such as the introduction of "Smokeys" father, Irises story, leading to the trip to the Northlands that allowed Iris to become pregnant.
Overall the story is well paced & well written with an acute attention to detail. Each book is neatly wrapped up, but allows for seamless transitions into the next book, while referencing previous editions in the series. I truly appreciate the chronological forward moving order all the books hold.
Yasmin is very Gifted to be able to tell a well woven Larger story over 20+ books while keeping the reader interested with the smaller stories that still contribute to the overall series it's truly amazing & clever!
