About this listen

Amanda is heartbroken as she watches them drive her beloved twins away. She’s resolved to hope and fight for them until her last breath.

Kara and Lizzie are heiresses to one of the largest fortunes in the country. But when their father dies suddenly, the toddlers are taken from the arms of their loving stepmother, Amanda, and given to relatives who only want the children’s fortune for themselves.

Kara and Lizzie grow up questioning their worth - until the day they learn the truth.

Intensely engaging, emotionally charged, and infused with hope, Covenant Child is an inspiring story that challenges listeners to embrace the life God holds out to us.

I love how Terri uses each character’s perspective. I admit this book jerked all my emotions even until the very last moment. A must listen and you must be patient.

This is a book that is so good, I will listen to it again. The tale woven brought me to such a place of openness to God's goodness. Why would I choose to dine in the dumpster when God prepares such a feast for me? Why do I choose to live in fear when Psalm 27 says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear"? When the rubber hits the road, will I choose poverty out of my fears, or all the goodness of God out of faith?
As I said, this book is worth a second listen.

The love of GOD and the love of a mother shine through this book. With all the trials and heartache, GOD is there. This book shows the love and determination a mother has to love and be there for her children. I could hardly stop listening, then sadness that I had reached the end. I am thankful that I discovered Terri Blackstock, there had not been a book of hers yet that had not had me hooked.
