Publisher's summary

When the wrong man turns out to be the right one...

Nash, a longtime Dirty Angels MC member and lead singer of Dirty Deeds, has a secret. For years, he’s hidden his bisexuality from his brothers, fellow bikers, worried how they’d take the news. But Nash isn’t the only one keeping secrets from his brotherhood. So is Cross, a police officer and member of the Blue Avengers MC.

As opposite as they come, when Cross spots Nash across the bar, he can’t resist the unexpected attraction. Then lines are crossed, boundaries blurred. And they need to survive in two different worlds where men who like other men aren’t usually accepted, and where bikers and cops don’t mix.

Reality and fantasy are two different things. The fantasy being Cross and Nash can be together, that they can make it work. The reality being their situation is impossible. Cross will never give up being a cop. Nash will never give up being a biker. What either of them would have to walk away from is more than anyone should ask for. In the end, fighting reality could be a losing battle in a war they might never win.

Note: A standalone, Crossing the Line is a crossover gay romance involving a member of the Dirty Angels MC and one from the Blue Avengers MC. It includes forbidden love, enemies to lovers, cop vs biker, alpha vs alpha. As with all my books, it has no cliffhanger and an HEA.

Crossing the Line: makes you think

I loved this book. I have to admit that I had to listen/read thru it 2-3 times to really get the nuances. First time I read it, I was too anxious about them getting caught - eventhou I knew Nash’s MC brothers from the previous books
This is a great book with some steamy scenes, it made me think and it will make you think too - offering another perspective.
I both read and listened to this - they found the perfect narrators for Nash and Cross, the voices were a perfect fit!

I couldn't stop listening

I really knew nothing about this book other than the Author and Narrators.

I was not disappointed AT ALL.

Jeanne St James is great at pulling you in right away and not letting you go until the very last chapter.

These two characters were not meant to be, they were alike, but yet too different and come from different worlds. Cross and Nash had instant chemistry and couldn't stay away from each other no matter what they did. Nash didn't think his MC would be kind about not only his sexuality but his choice of a cop either. Cross is too scared to come out at his department also.

There was not only growth in their relationship, but holy hotness level. If you like a good MM for not only the love and feelings, but the hot scenes, this is a good listen for you.
Teddy Hamilton and Aaron Shedlock were awesome narrators.

Great story line.

I thought that the story line was a great idea. The characters were a bit hard to like. I really wanted to like this book but it was just rough. Aaron and Teddy did a marvelous job.

heart wrenching & perfect

I have read (and reread) all of Jeanne St. James books and this is my favorite. The way she captures the emotion between our main characters brought me to tears. She is such a talented author, and never fails to drag all the feels right from the page into your heart.

really enjoyed this story

First book by this author and I loved it. The narrators were excellant and captured the essence of the characters. I loved the pacing and the character development . The author gave me a glimpse into a very fascinating world I was not familiar with that of the MC's.

Crossing the Line

Oh man, was this a great listen, Nash and Cross are two very different types of men they just come from different worlds neither one knew what they were getting into with their chance meeting.

I loved the sparks and the grit and the fight for love this book had. I love how these two fought against their own feelings because they both live such very different lifestyles it was near impossible to see a way they could be together. I loved the way they fought to be around each other knowing how much getting caught would not only hurt but wound them. I loved the fighting for what you want in the end no matter what it cost. Fighting for the one you love.
There is no better love story than that.

I want more, more, more, Jeanne we know can do bikers well I mean hot dang any of the Dirty Angels books will show you that. But I had reservations on MM bikers, and I can tell you right now she NAILED it. I mean it was everything and more. I loved these characters and can we talk about the narration, please.
The fact that Aaron and Teddy are not only two of my favorite narrators but holy man was this a hot book. These guys put emotion and inflection and made you feel the heartache the torment. I just can’t get enough. This series is going to be a huge hit.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧 🔥Heartfelt & Intense🔥

This book is fantastic, Jeanne St. James is a gifted author, she writes stories that are captivating from start to end and this one is no exception. The storylines and characters she creates are complex, realistic and easy to relate to. I loved who she merges two of her different worlds/lifestyles in this book, worlds that are opposites in many ways yet the same in some, not that they would ever see or admit that. An MC club, is their own type of gang as are the Men in Blue, Law enforcement. This is a great opposites attract romance and I adored both lead characters. Nash is a bad ass rocker and biker, he more than a member of the Dirty Angels MC, it is his family. He has been hiding a part of himself from them because he is afraid of they will think differently of him. Aiden Cross’ blood runs blue, he loves his job and is looking to be promoted. He too hides his true sexuality in fear he will be shunned and not accepted in the ranks. He is hanging out in a gay bar when he sees Nash, there is an instant attraction, Nash fights it but he eventually gives in. The chemistry between them is smoking and can not be denied. I loved these two together, you would think two alphas together would not work but they do. I love how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, angst, some heartfelt moments and some smoking hot ones. I also loved how Jeanne St. James kept it all real, showing how some have to hide their true selves because they are afraid they will not be accepted for who they are. I happy for Nash when he finally outed himself to the club, lifting a weight off his shoulder. Thank you for this fantastic story!!

Aaron Shedlock and Teddy Hamilton are top notch narrators and voice artists. They bring the characters to life giving each their own voice, personality and attitude. They did an amazing job portraying the characters, they grasped their roles and became the characters, Aaron’s Nash and Teddy’s Cross sounded just as I pictured they would. And they were just as great with the secondary characters as well. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this awesome listen🎧
