I loved this book! These books just keep getting better and better. The internal struggle, the outside danger, the love of family and unconditional love of a man/woman! It just hits nearly all of my feels buttons (as my niece would say). The narrator is great in this one as well. I said the last book was mu favorite, but I think this ine took the lead. I don't know if its because I am near Dr. Sids age or what, but I really connected with this story. I would recommend this book!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would definitely recommend this book and have. I adore this series and enjoy learning more about each member of the clan. Their back stories and what makes them who they are. I love the snark between the characters and of course hot dragons don’t hurt.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I think Sid is probably one of my favorites. She has been through so much. It was very interesting to hear the story of what happened to her dragon. It was great when she finally got a chance to have everything she had always wanted.

Which character – as performed by Matthew Lloyd Davies – was your favorite?

Matthew did an awesome job with Gregor. I love the Scottish accent. He does such a good job switching between all the dialects and you can pick out the difference.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I don’t know about an extreme reaction. Definitely lots of times where you just take a pause, like you are there.

A great story told and I’m happy that there was a story for dr. Sid and that she was able to overcome the obstacles that were thrown at her. She became a new her with a new life and she embraced it with everything and everyone that was involved. I laughed and it was semi romantic and hot . I definitely recommend it. Love this series you be disappointed.

Dr. Sid(Cassidy) lost her dragon at age 14. Now she has headaches caused by a loud banging sound in her head. She is afraid that she is going crazy. She is out for a run when she gets hit on the head and knocked unconscious. Dr Gregory Innes is called in to help out while Sid is ill.
Dr. Gregor has lost a mate and child before. So even though his dragon is telling him that Sid is also a true mate to them, he is leary. They both have reasons to fight a true mating between them. But when she was hit in the head, a sliver of wood with an unknown substance on it enters her system and makes her dragon come forward and the dragon is trying to take over for good.
There were three known cases of shifters having contact with the unknown substance. Sid and Gregor must work together with a few new characters while finding a cure for the aggressive dragons.
I enjoy the upbeat/funny attitude that Gregor has. He balances Sid's too serious side. I love the happy ever after ending with this couple. After everything that they have went through, it is deserved.
The narrator was good with all except the dragon voices. I didn't think they would be so high pitched. I imagine deeper voices for big strong dragons. This is just my opinion.

Dr. Sid lost her dragon as a young child. But as a adult fights head aches. Dr sid goes out Running and get injured Dr Innes comes to take care of Dr.sid Dr Innes gets back from visiting patience's to see how she is doing she fights the headaches Dr Innes waits to run some tests to help her but Sid's headaches are coming more often so Dr Innes tries to kiss her to see if his kiss could help her calm her dragon. Dr Innes talks to Bram to see if he can stay longer to help Dr Sid. Dr Innes helps wake up dr Sids dragon which has been slumbering most of her life. Now that sid dragon is awake she is angry dr innes tricks sids dragon to sleep for a few days so he can get tristen to help guide sid in controlling her dragon. Tristen hells Dr Sid learn to techniques to control her dragon but when she awakes because it happened later in her life her dragon is focas on Dr Innes with Mate frenzy the key is if they accept the mate frenzy will the dragon be controllable or not. Please read to see if Dr Cassidy can find a way to live with her dragon after being without for so long.

I've read these books many times and I love them. The dragon voices should be a low rumble but the narrator makes them sound like a 90 year old leprechaun.

Dr. Gregor Innes has to go help Stonefire after their doctor was attacked. Gregor's dragon wants to mate Dr. Sid Jackson from Stonefire, but Gregor is afraid to mate anyone becasue he lost his mate in childbirth over a decade ago.

Dr. Sid wants to mate Gregor however she does not want him to lose another mate when she goes crazy from her silent dragon.

Can they work together to bring Sid's dragon back and give both of them a future.

When we first met Sid all i wanted is to learn her story and through out the books this curiosity just got more and more and i knew i would absolutely love her book and her story and her..though i already loved Sid

These two are awesome together.Funny,witty,complete.
Reading this book felt like visiting with old friends....those two you had a long time to see but now that you are back its like not one day passed.
I love reading Jessie Donovan's books and I love listening to them as well .Her world building is amazing and she never fails to intrig me with her plots and the twists and turns in every story.
You never know when the emotional rollercoaster will hit or the adrenaline rush will come or when you'll just snuggle the book and laugh with what is happening in its pages. The narrator is an amazing addition to the greatness of the book. He gives life to the story and characters and flavor. His voice is amazing
Once again a great addition to her series and a must must must must read book.
