About this listen

A new future war unleashed. An event that will forever change the world. From the Amazon Charts and GoodReads Award winning author of CyberStorm comes a riveting new thriller.

"Brilliant...." (Wired Magazine on Cyber series)

China and Russia threaten America not to intervene as simmering tensions between India and Pakistan escalate. One after the other, missiles are launched that destroy satellites in orbit....

After long years apart, Mike Mitchell is reunited with old friends on a fishing trip in New Orleans. He brings his son Luke, now eight years old, while his wife Lauren attends a business meeting in Hong Kong.

Suddenly, worldwide GPS signal goes out. Cell phones stop working. Communications go down. Within hours, almost all international borders are closed as conflict spreads around the globe.

Thousands of planes are stranded in the air as Mike discovers that his wife Lauren took an overnight flight from China to Washington that morning. With satellites falling from the sky and rolling blackouts sweeping the nation, Mike must fight his way across the country in a desperate race to save his family.

But this is only the beginning as the shocking truth comes out, in a new generation of warfare that will forever change the world....

"Couldn't put it down...not only a great thriller, but a wakeup call" (Brent Watkins, Retired FBI Special Agent)

A great story about cyber warfare and narrated by RC Bray. Plenty of survival stuff too!

great listen, keeps you wanting to know more

I usually don't read these type of sci-fi books but this was a really nice change. The book uses concepts that are very real today but in a Sci-Fi perception. If you want to a book that keeps you wanting to know the next thing that's going to happen this is a good read for that.

Interesting

I believe this is what we are in right now. Deliberately engineered global genocide. BUT , we don't have these people to save us

This looks scared the poop out of me.

CyberSpace author Matthew Mather skilfully crafts a plausible tale about a cyberattack on a global level. As the story unfolds it demonstrates how vulnerable we are in the real world and how little is being done to protect us. RC Bray did another excellent job.

S Kaye

The gangs all together! Excitement and mystery? What’s not to like? And oh spiritual awakening always a good choice!

Awesome books!

I have been going through every one of Matthew Mather's books he is a wonderful author and very interesting concepts that touch uncomfortably close to how I imagine it could be. This particular book is a little less close to home than his first one in the series but still really interesting.

Fast moving story

Not a bad fast moving story. Set in the very near future, recently written, but worth a listen. RC Bray really brings it to life.

The Author obviously has left wing views.

I've almost stopped several times. But, my belief is to eat the grapes and spit out the seeds.
The author is obviously a liberal. From the child like manner in which the author presents firearms. "Is that yours, is it loaded" "This is Black Beauty"
To the condescending tone in which he takes in his portrayal of southerners. Or, those who choose to be part of a so called "militia" I would suggest MUCH more research before publishing such insults. We are all not banjo playing bigots here in Appalachia. In fact; my MIXED RACE daughter actually does some weapons training with a local group that most onlookers may call a militia. Ironically, she holds 2 degrees from Furman University (political science and international affairs) JD of Law from Cecil B Humphreys and a Business degree from University of Tennessee. My opinion is the Author believes that being conservative and a southerner somehow makes you ignorant. It is why I will not purchase the next in the series. Or, any further works from the Author.
