About this listen
Bitter. Broken. Angry. Empty.
That about sums it up! My heart was snatched from me without remorse and life as I know it no longer exists. No one understood the pain. Friends and family who wished me the best only made things worst by saying all the right things at the wrong times.
I was alone, abandoned even by God, and no one could comfort my dying soul. Reliving my son's last moments every time my loss was mentioned became my reoccurring trauma. Nothing prepared me for this. I realized the only way past the grief was through it, and that’s what pushed me to the pen.
I thought I was above it, but in having to endure it, I found life again. As a part of my healing, I speak on behalf of every heart that has experienced loss, pain, grief, numbness, emptiness, and suffocation.
This is my journey through a time of reflection, acceptance, and healing on the other side of grief. Walk with me and see that pain can be a prelude to purpose!
