are you in need of healing? read this book.

This is a great book for healing and helping you to forgive an experience that you may have gone through. Helps you see a different perspective. It does focus on break up, divorces, and death, but over all great book to help you understand other experiences also needed in healing the heart.

The heart will beat on

The authors build the readers confidence to get through the great traumas of life from loosing a job, divorce, major illness to the loss of a loved one. The focus is on using positive affirmations to build the psyche and get out of the victim why me mentality. A very good read to dealing with the grief and moving on.

A path from grief to peace

I remember when my cat-son died and there was no one to take me through the grieving process. I reached out to many people who I knew helped people through this process and none helped. To be fair most had relocated during 2020 and others were impacted by the death the same as me. I had raised this cat from a kitten found left in the woods through his entire life doing everything with him. It really hit me when he died and to be honest I’ve felt anything in the past when an animal died.

Going through this book was great and I wish I had read it back then. It really helps a person with all kinds of grief. I used it to shed what remained of my last relationship.

As you go through the book it will hit you in places you didn’t expect and allow you to address them. The affirmations are very helpful. I began using the one about jobs even though I was prepared for that ending. It still hit me and I needed to grieve it then let it go.

After all these decades Louise Hay’s work is more than relevant in the world!

Harsh Speaker

Being in a vulnerable place and dealing with grief I knew I needed the nurturing of Louise. she is there in bits and pieces providing affirmations. That is the most valuable part of the book. It's so hard to work through the rest because David Kessler's voice is so harsh and without any gentle inflection. It's like somebody yelling at you to process your grief.

Amazing

I feel so fortunate to have stumbled onto both of these amazing humans, through their writings. Their expressions of thoughts and feelings are validating. Wish we were all taught about these things!

Inspiration for every stage of life!

This book provides deep and useful for dealing with loss and transition. In addition to the main themes of separation and death, I loved the last chapter which touches upon other aspects of loss including loss of a job and challenges related to one's identify. I would definitely recommend this - not just for people who are currently dealing with transition or grief - since the lessons hold good for every point of the journey.

I saw the critical feedback on the narration and was worried about purchasing the audio book initially. But my experience was just the opposite. If anything the combination between Louise Hay's soothing, sage-like voice and Kessler's earnest and and enthused narration made the book come alive for me. This is one book that you will put down and genuinely thank the authors for the gift of their insight!
