Publisher's summary

She loved him when he was no one. Now he's a famous rock star...and he wants her back.

Violet Valentine has had enough of tattooed bad boys for one lifetime. Sure, nice guys don't set her on fire the way her ex Ethan did. They don't have his piercing blue eyes, or his bright smile, or his skilled hands. They don't serenade her with her favorite songs. Or make her laugh until her sides ache. Or make her feel so good she could die.

None of that matters. Ethan isn't breaking her heart again. No one is. Violet has more on her mind than her love life. She needs to finish her master's in mathematics. Then there's the little matter of figuring out what she's doing after graduation.

Rock star Ethan Strong is happy with his work hard, party harder lifestyle. In theory. The perfectionist guitarist has everything he wants, but he still goes home hollow. He still falls asleep thinking of his ex. No amount of casual sex can erase Violet from his mind. No matter how much he devotes himself to his guitar, he still craves the gorgeous math geek.

Now she's back in his life. For two weeks. That's two weeks of resisting her reserved smile, her green eyes, her soft body under his.

Or it's two weeks of them tangled in the sheets, his name rolling off her lips.

Two weeks to get her back.

Holy Hotness!

What a wonderful story. I really loved Violet and Ethan’s story. I can’t wait for the next one. I totally recommend this story to anyone who loves a true love story. Crystal Kaswell has done an amazing job with the story line and laying the foundation of all of the characters in the band. As usual Wen’s panty melting voice draws you into the male emotion of Ethan and Kai does an exceptional job conveying Violet’s true emotions. These two narrators never disappoint. They bring the story to life. Thanks for always doing that for me! I seek out series’s that you two work on because I know that I will get a great story and be able to place myself inside the world of the characters easily. Readers: BUY THIS BOOK!!! And don’t stop there. Get them all!!!!

Dangerous Kiss

I am a huge fan of rockstar romances and a huge fan of Crystal Kaswell books. Both of my fav's together and you have an amazing book. I love Ethan's and Violet story in Dangerous Kiss. The book was well written and made you fell like you personally knew the characters. Ethan and Violet were lovers, then Ethan shattered Violets heart when he left. Ethan is now and famous and can have any women he wants. When Ethan see's Violet again the women he never stopped loving, the one who always held his heart he wants her back again. Violet is still hurting over Ethan and does not want to give him a 2nd chance and is fighting it, she wants to protect her heart. The chemistry is still strong between them. Will Violet give into Ethan or will she stay strong and protect her heart? this is a must read. I am looking forward to the 2nd book in this series.

Love is sweeter the second time around.

Originally, Ethan was young and selfish for not wanting Violet to go and pursue her dreams even though she supported his. Fast forward to the present where a career opportunity arises that Violet financially can't refuse. Her only reservation?? Spending lots of time with her past.
This second chance romance is perfectly balanced. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts hot!! Wen and Kai have such great chemistry as well that when you pair them with a really good author, it takes the sexy parts to a whole new level. Mix in the humor, some drama and add a HEA ending, that's perfect combo for a credit well spent for me.

First in series!

The characters in this audiobook are lovers who parted when she got accepted into grad school and he couldn't be supportive of her. They were separated for several years when she came back into his life and he realized that he has never gotten over her. Offered a temporary job by the hero's brother, she agrees to accompany them on tour for several weeks to audit their finances. They are still attracted to one another and she agrees to a "friend's with benefits" arrangement, but he wants much more. Can he see that he has never put her first? The story and characters are memorable and the narration was great.

Great start to this Rockstar series

I love a great rockstar romance and the boys from Dangerous Noise are right on the money. Ethan and Violet were a happy and in love young couple. His music career was taking off and then tragedy struck as Violet lost her twin brother and then she lost Ethan when she decided to leave to study and get her masters degree in mathematics.

Two years later and they are back in eachother's lives for a week when Ethan's older brother Mal hires Violet to go on tour with them to look at the books. She agrees and Ethan now realises what a mistake he made letting Violet go and will do whatever it takes to win her back.

The narrators really made this story come to life with their dual POV. I loved how both would speak the male and female parts respectively. It added that extra level of listening pleasure. Great story and I can't wait to listen to all the other members of the band tell their stories.

My Two Pennies

When you have a duo like Kai and Wen narrating you can’t go wrong. I can feel the connection and the passion poured into this story right through my earbuds. Wonderful performance.

Im you only happy when it rains...
This is a great rockstar meets second chance romance but it did take me a little time to get into the story. Violet is a very intelligent woman that is going for her Masters Degree in Mathematics at NYU, Ethan is the lead guitarist or the rock band Dangerous Noise. What grabbed me was learning about the past events in Violet’s life and how it had such an impact on her lifestyle today. I love being on tour with the band and at the same time we get the private story of Violet and Ethan with their are their friends with benefits sexy as all hell times together. The pace flows nicely and we get glimpses into the other band members that leave us wanting to know their stories too. I will definitely be looking into more books in this series. This is my unbiased and voluntary review.
