Quick paced light erotica woven into a sweet romance. Wonderful repartee, witty comebacks a plenty. Lots of spanking, but not darkly done. This book could have existed either with or without, but seems to fit perfectly in the middle of typical regency romance and erotica.
I assumed a narrator named Lottie Lush would be good at the sex scenes but not at the story but I was wrong. Pleasantly so. She did a excellent job!!

So, story good, narrator good, heated thoroughly and acceptably creditworthy although I got it with a kindle purchase total order price around $4.

Narration was great. Hot sex scenes. She annoyed me a couple times but wasn’t bad. I wish there was a little more of them falling in love, without cutting out sex scenes of course :) the dark duke is introduced in this book and I absolutely love him! I can’t wait to start book 2 which is his story.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

Start all over and write a book leaving out 90% of the sex! I kept thinking a story would begin, but there never really was any substance from beginning to end. It was short but still a waste of time.

I had never read this author before, I bought this because the summary made it sound interesting. It was all sex no real developed story, I fast forward through most of it. What a wast of money. I'll never buy anything written by this author again.

So yeah, I think Audible put this book in the wrong genre. It should be in the erotica section for sure.

There is a little bit of story here in between the sex. The Story was great but it only covered about 20% of the book, the rest was sex. I absolutely loved the characters. Especially Helena. A potentially 10 star story ruined by the author sexcapades. I am sooo glad this was only 5 hours long.

As for the narration, it was good. I enjoyed it. I think Lottie Lush did a good job on the male voices. And she read with emotion and had a nice reading voice.
