About this listen

Is it possible to read people accurately and respond adequately to their signals?

The answer is an obvious yes. You will, however, need to engage in some self-analysis and you’ll also have to pay attention to others. Once you become more present in everyday interactions, you will begin pinpointing cues and patterns of behavior that reveal a ton more than spoken word will ever be capable of.

In How to Analyze People at a Glance, you will discover:

  • The number one reason why non-verbal communication is so much more important than spoken words
  • 7 codes of non-verbal communication everybody should master
  • A surefire way to determine if others are being deceitful
  • The meaning of body language – when words say one thing and the body’s telling you something else
  • Practical strategies for differentiating between positive and negative body language
  • Some of the most common signals people give and their meaning
  • Putting the theory of analyzing people to use in your personal relationships
  • Powerful techniques for influencing others and making them like you
  • The basics of neuro-linguistic programming
  • The fine difference between being persuasive and being manipulative

And a lot more.

As humans, we are all flawed, we’re all insecure and we’re all looking for a deeper connection. Sometimes, however, we go about it in the worst possible way.

How to Analyze People will teach you how to go beyond shallow communication and how to look deep into the actions and motivations of others. Equipped with this knowledge, you will excel in your career, you will make new friends and achieve a level of life satisfaction you’ve probably considered impossible in the past.

Insightful Guide to Understanding and Influencing

This audiobook collection is a very compelling listen for anyone interested in understanding human behavior and improving their communication skills. It breaks down complex psychological concepts into easy-to-understand strategies that help you read people and influence their behavior effectively. I was fascinated by all I learned and all I didn't know, even some things I have been reading incorrectly. The practical tips for recognizing deceit and persuasion were so eye-opening as well as that on nonverbals. If you want to better understand the people around you and learn how to connect with them on a deeper level, this audiobook is a great resource.

Fascinating Deep Dive into Human Behaviour

I've always been highly observant, even as a child, noticing the subtle shifts in posture, microexpressions, and unspoken cues that reveal more than words ever could. The section on detecting deception was especially intriguing—learning the small tells that expose when someone might be lying and what signs to watch for in their body language. It’s a whole new level of intelligence in communication, reinforcing that what people say is often less important than how they say it. I’ll definitely be revisiting this one.

Very informative

This audiobook offers insights into covert techniques for reading people, identifying behavioural patterns, and even influencing interactions in subtle ways. It tackles about body language and human behavior, and moving towards more advanced techniques that feel almost like secrets from a spy novel. The book emphasizes the importance of ethical considerations, which I really appreciated. I'd recommend this book for anyone interested in psychology, social dynamics, or just wanting to sharpen their interpersonal skills. However, the information here should be used responsibly. It's powerful knowledge that could easily be misused if it falls into the wrong hands.

This book is a practical guide to understanding body language, recognizing unspoken cues, and using ethical persuasion to strengthen relationships and positively influence others. It explores cultural differences in body language, the disconnect between words and gestures, and how to detect hidden emotions or dishonesty. The book also emphasizes self-awareness, helping readers refine their own communication styles to project confidence and build trust. Rather than manipulation, persuasion is framed as a tool for encouragement and empowerment, allowing individuals to inspire and support others. With actionable techniques for improving interpersonal skills, this book is a valuable resource for anyone seeking deeper connections and greater influence in both personal and professional settings.

full of useful information!

After listening to this book, I will definitely not see people's words and body language the same anymore!
I like learning about the science behind everyhting as it ads more credibility and that is why I enjoyed reading about the science behind behavior change.
When it comes to manipulation, the first thing that comes to my mind is a person manipulating their friend or a partner manipulating the other partner, but manipulation is marketing is something new! I enjoyed reading the mattress company and grocery stores examples that the author included in the book.
What I like about this book is how it explains dark psychology in a way to "protect" us instead of teaching us how to use it to manipulate others.

Unlock the Power of Influence

This book opened my eyes to how we can understand and influence others. It gave me practical tools to read people better and adjust my approach based on their cues. I’ve already started applying some of the techniques at work, and I’m noticing a difference in how conversations flow. It’s like having a cheat sheet for social interactions but in a natural, not manipulative way. If you’re curious about what makes people tick and how to interact more effectively, this is worth the listen.
