Practical advice for those of who (think we) know better

The author gave candid, practical and real world advice to help improve your interpersonal communication. He shared stories and examples of how and when to use the information at home, with friends and at work.

I realized while listening to this that I am guilty of many of the negative traits he mentioned and will certainly heed the authors advice on how to improve. I wish everyone listened to this book. There would far less conversationally selfish people. Including me.
