About this listen

The all-new KGI novel from the “incredibly awesome" (Jaci Burton) number one New York Times best-selling author of When Day Breaks.

The Kelly Group International (KGI): A super-elite, top secret, family-run business.

Qualifications: High intelligence, rock-hard body, military background.

Mission: Hostage/kidnap victim recovery. Intelligence gathering. Handling jobs the US government can’t...

The enigmatic Hancock has been both opponent and ally to the KGI teams for as long as they've known him. Always working a deep game, Hancock's true allegiance has never been apparent, but one thing is for certain - he never lets anything get in the way of duty.

But now, his absolute belief in the primacy of his ultimate goal is challenged by a captive he's been ordered to guard, no matter how much she suffers in her prison. She's the only woman who's ever managed to penetrate the rigid walls surrounding his icy heart, but will he allow his perplexing feelings for the beautiful victim to destroy a mission he's spent years working to complete or will he be forced to sacrifice her for “the greater good”.

GREAT STORY!...RATCHET NARRATION!

How can a book be so good, with such horrid narration???? MB deserves major kudos for pulling this one out. The story that's told is one of incredible courage, and I love love love that the hero was a character that's been on the fringes of the KGI series---Hancock has intrigued me from the start. Similarly to Steele, Hancock is mysterious, dangerous, super edgy--all the ingredients for a super hot alpha male. His heroine, Honor Cambridge was smart as a whip and very likable. I was completely drawn in to this storyline and listened in almost one sitting. What made the narration awful is that TB was way too dramatic--lots of yelling for no reason, really awful female voice characterization, and his pace was a little too slow at points throughout. Despite all of this, I loved this book, and could easily listen to it again immediately. Highly recommended for the romantic that also loves a bit of action.

WOW

I love Hancock and Honor!!! Such an awesome story. I don't know how many times I laughed so hard, cheered so hard and cried so hard. This is an amazing book by Maya Banks. I wasn't sure how she would work it into the KGI series, but she did it outstandingly. I think this one was my favorite ❣️

KGI

Love all the KGI books can't wait for the next one. Hope it's Rusty's story, I think she will end up with Sean. He is very protective of her.

Dark... but worth the read/listen...

This is one of my favorite books out of the series... it's unique... at times its hard to take... but it's worth the listen... for sure! The two characters were so intense and involving. The scenes description was very well laid out making it easy to understand the events happening... and a lot was happening. The story kept moving along fast. Loved it.

Some scenes I didn't understand... i.e. too much drugging. Why? Some scenes were over-the-top hard to believe. But that's the story!

This book has nothing to do with KGI; Should have been a standalone.

Tad's narration is amazing. He truly makes the books worth listening. Perfection.

It was very hard to put this book down until finished. Definitely worth the listen. Enjoy!

Didn't want to stop listening!

I have to say that the plot is a little far fetched but there was constant action which made me want to keep listening

I enjoyed this KGI story.

I was really surprised about how much I love the book I've always loved the Kellys and not so much Hancock so it took me by real surprise when the story was really something to get into and not want to put it down.

One Tough Love

I think this was one of the toughest love I have read within the KGI series. I knew before reading that the woman who will ultimately bring down Hancock have to be one tough chick. And she sure was. I can't wait to read more future KGI series. Love reading and seeing how the past couples are doing.

Best KGI Book yet!

Thoroughly enjoy the KGI series. But this book was especially engaging from the beginning. Really liked Honor’s strong character and getting to know more about Hancock. A very emotional experience from the first to last page! Loved Hancock!! A real hero!
