Days 5 to 8 is the second audiobook in the Mass Extinction Event series, continuing the story of a worldwide apocalypse seen from the eyes of two very different people in two different parts of the US.

Trapped in a ruined city, Elizabeth and her brother, Henry, try to avoid the dangers that seem to lurk on every street. But even when they manage to get home, they face an entirely different kind of threat. Meanwhile, hundreds of miles away, Thomas struggles to keep his brother alive. First, though, he needs to find out what happened to his father, and he also has to make a difficult decision about his ailing mother.

sounds like a middle schoolers summer project.. kept hoping it would get better. the idea was good. but the whole series was just so.. childish. redundant. one of the main characters later in the series just drops off the map. spoiler alert but the last book just ends and there's no more. Just extremely poorly executed. idk why the average rating is so high. all the reviews are all very poor.. authors school friends must've helped with ratings. the female narrator was like a little girl. just all around very poor... listen if theyre free, but dont waste your money.

I don’t give bad reviews but this ticked me off. I did not sign up for some ridiculous zombie time/space travel book. Not only that the characters reactions to each other through out both sides of the story are repetitive beyond improbable.
