Publisher's summary

Would you still survive 15 days without power?

After the lights went out across the nation, Elliot, Jesse, Maggie, and Damon fought off desperate people as they made their way back to Lake Placid. Rayna barely survived an attack by home invaders, and Gary struggled to maintain order in a town gripped by panic.

Now together, they must face the consequences of their actions and fight through days of chaos. Damon knows Magnus won't stop until he finds those responsible for the death of his cousins. He knows Cole will do whatever it takes to survive.

A trip into Keene may prove to be more deadly than he imagined. Will he stand with those who helped him or side with those he's known the longest?

When a string of murders occur throughout Lake Placid, Gary and Elliot must face an unknown danger. With looters and raiders going wild it's only a matter of time before they lose control. How many must die before they throw in the towel and protect their own?

Days of Chaos is the second audiobook of an EMP, post-apocalyptic, survival thriller series. It's a powerful, action-packed story about the ones we leave behind and the risks we must take to survive.

great story

fantastic sequel to a fantastic first book. only negative thing I can say is the characters bicker too much. I suppose most people would in these stressful times.

Not a bad series thus far

My only problem is the books are too short for a bit too much money in my opinion

Do You Know Who Your Friends Are?

Friends?............Gary needs an attitude adjustment and Jill, well you'll see. I'm about half way through and reluctantly put my headphones down to spend time with my hubby. This working from home job has its perks ;) I get to listen while I work and right now I'm listening to another great book from this author. He has these characters growing and accomplishing things they didn't think they could do.

I can't wait for Book #3 to be available on Audible. Thanks Jack and Kevin for making my days truly enjoyable!!

meh

book 2 of the series I wish the author hadn't gone with the classic damsel in the distress cliche.

Very Interesting Characters and Plot

Jack Hunt is a masterful author. The EMP survival series is one of the most unique and interesting post EMP PA series. The characters in this series are thrown together when an EMP detonates while all are in New York City. However, in this they are making their way to Lake Placid, after being thrown together due to extreme circumstance. Some relationship drama, drug entanglements, and other issue that existed before the EMP continue to play out. Though the world has changed significantly, the circumstances that put each character where they were during the EMP have not disappeared. This picks up where book one left off, and is a spectacular ride.

Of course, the key to audiobook perfection is Kevin Pierce. It just doesn't get better.

book 2 just as good or even better than book 1

too many bad words great book series though now time for book 3 great series. if you are interested in this book series just know that there is a lot of foul language. As a Christian I prefer books without foul language. what a great storyline now I do my best to block out the language. cuz I know there's language about to happen I try to turn it down.

Complex in need of simplification

excellent tale that carries about 4 too many main charcters. the performing narrator impressively deals out the story, saving the day (and story). which easlily could have been lost by a lesser talent.
