About this listen

Dying didn’t mean I was dead. It meant I’d been chosen.

My name is Everly, and I'm haunted by the dead. Or maybe hunted is a better word since it seems the dead want to make me one of them. My only ally is Shadow, the dark entity who’s been by my side protecting me since I was a child.

A night of bad decisions sends me careening down a road with no return. Dying wasn’t part of the plan. With a single touch from Shadow, both my life and death change. He’s chosen me. But for what?

I’m either going crazy, or my new reality is a world of nightmares. One thing is certain, no matter how bad it gets, I cannot die. He won’t let me.

Dead Silence is book one in The Everlasting Chronicles. Listener discretion advised due to dark subject matter.

KG Blows me away!

This is not the first book I have read by K.G. Reuss and it wont be the last. Wow, she has this incredible talent of weaving a world with characters that have so much depth. I love that she makes Ever this incredibly strong person who despite everything she has been through, continues to stay strong and fight. She is a no nonsense bad*ss!
The narrator had great intonation and voices were fabulous!!

Crazy Good Story

Dead Silence had me captivated from start to finish. I quickly became invested in Everly's journey. The way this author writes you can't help feeling the confusion and uncertainty that Everly is feeling through out the story. The narrator did a perfect job bringing the story and characters to life. I look forward to more in this series and from this author.

Place between our own protective walls and truth.

Strange how there are so many versions of shifted or parallel world's. As if there really are so many alternative options it is infinite. So who does touch them? Who sees them? Who just imagines them? Why limit one's self?

Good Start!

I have listened to several books from this author and this is nothing like her others which I liked! I liked the plot and the characters. I thought the author did a really good job creating this story. I wanted really back to like the narration but just couldn’t! When she spoke normally she was good but it was all the other voices that it was a struggle. I thought the male voices were the worst but some also were like nails to a chalk board in my opinion. Regardless I still enjoyed the story a lot and will continue the story. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

The narration gave me goosebumps!

Since I've already reviewed the story on Amazon, my review here will be solely to fawn over the absolutely amazing narration.

Dead Silence is the story of a girl who hears voices. With the narrator's expertise, I felt as if I was that girl. As if I was Ever.

The narration pulled me right in. At times, it creeped me out so much that I had to stop reading for a minute, just so I could catch my breath.

The narrator was spot on with ALL the voices, dead and alive. I LOVED the narration, and as I already love the story, listening to Dead Silence was an AWESOME experience.

Narration was not my favorite...

I think I would have enjoyed this more if I read it instead of listened to the audiobook.. the narrator was just not good in my opinion. Over acted some parts and it was hard listening to some of the “male” voices. The story however was interesting. Not quite like anything else I’ve read so I think I’ll grab the eBook for the next installment soon.
