About this listen

A truck load of toxic chemicals crashes into Tampa Bay, threatening Dr. Derk Bryan's own slice paradise. A bank president’s son and a senator’s daughter die after smoking weed at a fraternity party. The publisher of a weekly entertainment rag accuses the cops of murder.

As one of the EPA's top investigators, Derk Bryan refuses to accept the ME’s conclusion that the environmental catastrophe was an accident. With three monster hurricanes on a collision course with Florida, he races against the clock and the bureaucracy to find the connections of the clues in this ecological crossword puzzle.

Entertaining with quirky characters

Story jumped around a bit oo much and for an ecological thriller, left me wondering about the real culprit behind the drama. This was by no means a literary work of high importance, little character development, and somewhat dated analogies. For and old time detective story, it does entertain.
