"Worth Listening to Save Your Life"

We live in a very stressful world today. And knowing now to deal with stress be it on the job or in one's family, this book can be a life-saver. What I really liked about "Deadly Emotions" was the fact that the author was direct and to the point how emotions can ruin one's health as well as destroying relationships. Chronic deadly emotions such as anger, violence, etc., which causes inflammation in the body can lead to all kinds of diseases. Stress is a fact of life but too much stess will kill you. Also, some stess can be good and knowing how to handle it can do a body good!

Great Book!

What made the experience of listening to Deadly Emotions the most enjoyable?

The first time I saw Dr. Colbert was on John Hagee and I read several of The Bible Cure Books he wrote. They are short and informative. This book looks deep into the spiritual aspect of how our emotional heath affects our physical bodies. He give numerous examples of how unforgivness or bitterness can take root and create a physical condition that is overlooked by traditional medicine.

Changed my life

This book was the catalyst for who I am today. In 2017 I stop walking and I had physical pain from head to toe. In the process I started reading the Bible again with a different approach questioning who God is as well as I saw this book on the bookshelf of where I was staying and was interested from the title. Within a month of reading this book and praying to God about what I was reading, I started applying what it said I started walking and Living completely different. Now that I know that my thoughts and how I take in life mentally and emotionally can affect me physically...everything has changed. Books like this and others that I have read like mine character and personality, battlefield of the mind, and others have changed my life to the point I now teach emotional and mental stability classes.

Compelling Read!

Dr. Don Colbert's "Deadly Emotions" would be a wise investment by anyone who cares for others, whether in counseling, or compassion-based ministry. The examples of people who suffered--all tragically, some terminally--touched me deeply and created a thirst for further research. How emotions impact human lives is something I see and sense on a daily basis. I recommend Dr. Colbert's book to anyone who genuinely cares for others!
