The ups and downs, ins and outs

I really enjoyed Jack and Amara’s story. This book real did have everything, from murder to romance. And JD Jackson did an excellent job with the narration.

Great Book

I loved this book. I hated for it to end. The characters leaped off the pages. Jack was irresistible.

It was good but could have been better

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

This would not be top on my list of recommendations but if someone was looking for a list of books to read I would add it. The story line was a bit forced. I understand people can fall in love over night but there was no foundation to the love. It was more like they were really attracted to each other and had good sex but there was no real connection beyond that point.

Would you recommend Deadly Pursuit to your friends? Why or why not?

Again would not be on the top of my list.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

The narration matched the pace of the story. The narration of the male characters were good but I did not like the narrator for the female characters. He could not convey all the sass, so it sounded like the main character was more annoying versus a sexy independent woman which the book detailed.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Yes if more was added to the relationship of the characters.

I kinda liked it

The only confusing thing was the narrator was reading from a different book. He forgot the first chapter and would read completely different things. It was a little weird.
