About this listen

Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States has sold over 2.5 million copies and is still required reading in some high school and college classrooms. But its polemic rewriting of American history as a story of oppression is an agenda-driven fairy tale that has no place in academia. In Debunking Howard Zinn, Mary Grabar debunks Howard Zinn’s lies and traces the damage his mega-bestseller has done to American education, culture, and politics.

Amazing

I absolutely loved this book! I am so happy to see someone see through the lies of all this fake history they keep trying to indoctrinate us with. As a history major myself I will do everything I can to keep this from happening. A wonderful reading and to Mary Grabar, thank you!!!

A MUST READ BOOK FOR EVERY CONCERNED AMERICAN

Howard Zinn, as a individual, has done more to destroy the United States Of America than any other non-politician in history. Of course, if you were to include politicians, Pelosi, Obama and Biden would certainly exceed him.

The craft of taking a lie and making it come true by repeating it over and over is exactly what this American hating Communist loving traitor has done. You see it all around you. Teachers pushing leftism over truth over the years has amplified the insanity generation by generation.

Parents who had children indoctrinated with the falsehoods presented as fact by Howard Zinn should start a class action suit against any school who used this book as valid text.

Excellent in Every Way! Must Reading!!!

I am so grateful to have found this book. Referenced in a D'Souza documentary, I wanted to get the whole story. And what a well documented, well sourced, extraordinarily well researched book this is. Of course, when you're defying the the left's narrative on anything, you can only do it with truth, documented, witnessed, provable truth. This book does exactly that with what should be called a Zinn expose' except as Grabar points out, Zinn exposes himself if only you're willing to hold him to the same standard to which you would hold any other peddler of contrarian opinion. I've been so dismayed at so many people's contempt for America's exceptionalism, now I understand where and how they got their currupted, historic disinformation. Well done and thank you Mary Grabar!

Everything Zinn was not.

This book is factual, honest and well researched. Mrs. Grabar exposes Zinn’s book for what it is.

Now I understand

My history education has been going on for many years as I read constantly and listen to books including biographies (original sources). When I watch the young generation talking about history it is not they do not know but a lot of what they know is not accurate. This audible book goes a long way of explaining the gap.

As we have just "celebrated" Columbus Day I have not understood the protest. As someone who has read some of the original documents although translated of the era the protest did not make sense. Columbus did not murder natives or condone it. This is the notion from the "Zinn history". Howard Zinn was not a historian so inaccuracies should be expected but the source of his information is even more interesting.

For those who have studied the Howard Zinn story of history you are probably not going to be able to handle what is in this book. Unlike what you had in school this is documented and both good and bad laid out.

For those who have children being indoctrinated in school and universities it may help understand what they are talking about when it comes to politics as that what his history is about - politics.

Powerful rebuke to SJW propaganda

Zinn’s book was intended for Americans to hate their country and history. This book really exposes Zinn for the Marxist propagandist he is .

Review of Howard Zinn

A very good book which discusses the account of Howard Zinn's professional career. This book, based on the research conducted, clearly exposes Howard Zinn for the Marxist that he was and how he worked towards corrupting the minds of America's youth.

The Importance of Real Scholarship

It's astonishing how sorely needed this book is. If American Education was truly worth something, this book would be totally unnecessary. Mitch Daniels should have stood his ground. He had all the facts on his side, and on top of that had an opportunity to clean house. Grabar gives the so-called fact-checkers of today a course in fact-checking with this work and calls Zinn's many bluffs. The emperor truly has no clothes and it makes me wonder how many teachers and professors regularly stand naked in front of their students while the students have no idea.

I always thought Zinn's book was anti American

Whenever I heard things about Zinn's book, I got the distinct impression it was an anti-American, pro-communist polemic. Turns out that impression was correct. not only that, but Zinn is a dishonest hack historian. Of course, Zinn was seeking revolution, not truth. Shame to learn how influential he's been as I recognized a lot of his ideas.
