About this listen

Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States has sold over 2.5 million copies and is still required reading in some high school and college classrooms. But its polemic rewriting of American history as a story of oppression is an agenda-driven fairy tale that has no place in academia. In Debunking Howard Zinn, Mary Grabar debunks Howard Zinn’s lies and traces the damage his mega-bestseller has done to American education, culture, and politics.

Zinn destroyed!

A thorough rebuke of Zinnia communist propaganda is long overdue, and this book nails it. this should be required reading in all colleges and high schools.

Why ANTIFA exists...

If you want to know why ANTIFA exists, and why Communism has take the country by storm, look no further. Zinn and pseudo-academics Luke him have been laying the foundation for America’s destruction in Public schools for generations. Learn about the deception by and complicity of the “educational” establishment.

Great listen

It’s so refreshing to hear history supported by facts. Zinn is not a historian, he’s an op-Ed writer calling himself an historian. That Zinn has worked his way into our educational system speaks to how inept our system has become.

a long overdue exposing of a hack propagandist

The author exposes one of the worst books ever to enter the American education system. communist Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States has sold over 2.4 million copies, many of them mandatory purchases for college and even High School courses. Zinn's book is ahistorical, leftist to the point of communist propaganda, as the author meticulously demonstrates. this book is wildly necessary, and has not received the acclaim it deserves. I enjoyed the readers tone, as she reflected the author's scorn for the rubbish she was exposing. I cannot recommend this book highly enough

Excellent Review and Refutation

Very much enjoyed it in contrast to what I was told by media and school. It's a sobering wakeup from the failed narrative of public schools.

Thorough & brilliant!

In a day where revisionists prey on the historically ignorant, this book is a much needed antiseptic to the lies surrounding America’s founding, her history & her true nature!

Now I understand

My history education has been going on for many years as I read constantly and listen to books including biographies (original sources). When I watch the young generation talking about history it is not they do not know but a lot of what they know is not accurate. This audible book goes a long way of explaining the gap.

As we have just "celebrated" Columbus Day I have not understood the protest. As someone who has read some of the original documents although translated of the era the protest did not make sense. Columbus did not murder natives or condone it. This is the notion from the "Zinn history". Howard Zinn was not a historian so inaccuracies should be expected but the source of his information is even more interesting.

For those who have studied the Howard Zinn story of history you are probably not going to be able to handle what is in this book. Unlike what you had in school this is documented and both good and bad laid out.

For those who have children being indoctrinated in school and universities it may help understand what they are talking about when it comes to politics as that what his history is about - politics.

Powerful rebuke to SJW propaganda

Zinn’s book was intended for Americans to hate their country and history. This book really exposes Zinn for the Marxist propagandist he is .

Review of Howard Zinn

A very good book which discusses the account of Howard Zinn's professional career. This book, based on the research conducted, clearly exposes Howard Zinn for the Marxist that he was and how he worked towards corrupting the minds of America's youth.
