About this listen
This is the 2024 edition of Dishonest Money. It has been lightly rewritten and contains a new chapter (Chapter Zero), that describes the danger of CBDCs and the benefits of Bitcoin.
If you want to understand how the so-called "Federal Reserve System" operates (how it drives prices up, creates booms and busts, transfers wealth and power from the average working citizen to the elite who pull the strings) set aside a few hours and listen the audiobook version of Dishonest Money: Financing the Road to Ruin.
Here are some of the topics covered in this book. Each topic is explained in simple/common language:
* The Federal Reserve System, the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank: Who created them and who profits?
* Inflation, deflation, booms, busts, bailouts, and depressions: What are they, what causes them and who profits?
* Honest money VS dishonest money: How are they different and who profits?
* The CFR, the European Union, a North American Union, a New World Order: Who profits?
By the end of this short book, you will be familiar with these terms, you will know who profits, and (more importantly) you will know who pays.

Story
Based on the groundbreaking research of respected historian Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope 101 reveals an unimaginably devious political system, skillfully manipulated by a handful of elite, which is undermining freedom and democracy as we know it. The goal of those who control the system, in Quigley's own words, is to dominate "all habitable portions of the world." Using deception, theft, and violence, they have achieved more toward this goal than any rulers in human history. However, the Information Age is quickly derailing their plans. The immorality of their system has become nearly impossible to hide.

Story
Money is a fact of everyday life. We earn it, spend it and save it. We’re tempted to worship it and to trust it to provide for our needs. While much has been written about the power, danger, and stewardship of money, little has been written about what money actually is and whether or not money itself is moral. That information gap has been exploited to enrich a privileged few, enslave millions, and reap confusion and division throughout the world. How did this happen and what can we do about it?

Story
This classic work of political theory and practice offers an account of the modern Machiavellians, a remarkable group who have been influential in Europe and practically unknown in the United States. The book devotes a long section to Machiavelli himself as well as to such modern Machiavellians as Gaetano Mosca, Georges Sorel, Robert Michels and Vilfredo Pareto. Burnham contends that the writings of these men hold the key both to the truth about politics and to the preservation of political liberty.

Story
When a pseudonymous programmer introduced “a new electronic cash system that’s fully peer-to-peer, with no trusted third party” to a small Online mailing list in 2008, very few paid attention. Ten years later, and against all odds, this upstart autonomous decentralized software offers an unstoppable and globally-accessible hard money alternative to modern central banks. The Bitcoin Standard analyzes the historical context to the rise of Bitcoin, the economic properties that have allowed it to grow quickly, and its likely economic, political, and social implications.

Story
What happens when you realize that you’re at the mercy of powers greater than yourself? What happens when these powers flex their muscles and, overnight, turn the entire world on its head? What happens when, in a twist of fate, these same powers offer you a lifeline; an invitation into their exclusive club? Do you accept? Join Alex Watson as he enters the darkness of an unseen world, where the "dominant few" do as they please to the "inferior many" that live beneath them. For the insiders, there is unimaginable freedom, wealth, and power.

The truth is stranger (and scarier) han fiction...
I don't see how any adult, intelligent, American Citizen could not be, would not be, SHOULD not be in a frenzied panic about how our financial system has been hacked and raped by "progressive" one worlder's whose only goal is to line their own pockets. Joe Plummer has committed his adult life to bringing this information to light, and I swear by all that is holy and good that I do not know how he stays optimistic.
God bless America. Our "leaders" have abandoned us...
