Publisher's summary

The blurred lines between reality, imagination and the ethereal can be very fine. These six short stories test the limits. A disturbing letter, an extreme phobia, a calculating psychopath, a woodland hunt, a lonely hotel, and a search for family all feature in this dark compilation.

Conjures Memories of The Twilight Zone

Would you listen to Disordered Minds again? Why?

No. I'd read the book, but not listen again. The stories are interesting and creepy (in a good way), but the technical quality of the narration is lacking.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Perhaps paid a little closer attention to the words (at times it seemed he was stumbling over passages), and paid a lot more attention to the technical aspects of production. A great deal of mouth noises, clicks, pops, external noises (perhaps a passing vehicle, or the narrator bumped the mic stand a few times), and the audio seemed overly filtered (too much compression/gating)

Any additional comments?

The stories are well written and original. I enjoyed the story aspect of this audiobook, and even, for the most part, the acting. David Ayers has talent, a tad raw but I look forward to his future in the business. I'd like to see Mr. Ayers obtain some technical skills for production, or maybe outsource this part of the production.
