About this listen

Well, she's not dead. That's better than Mummur expected. But after Telvar cast her out of the game with all her strings attached, Murmur has more than in-game death to deal with. When some of the abilities of Somnia remain with her, Murmur must figure out where she ends and the game begins.

But even as she realizes the complicated nature of her connection to Somnia, more elements of the virtual reality begin to snag. The race for keys continues, and time is running out. Murmur begins to suspect Fable can’t manage the next tier of dungeons alone before the system's instabilities risk inescapable cascades.

While Fable struggles to keep their head start, game elements run off script and leave Laria and Shayla floundering for answers. For every problem they solve, two more appear in its place. If they’re not careful, the whole of Somnia will be corrupted.

Glad the series was extended from its original length to tie up some loose ends. This book has a lot happening and I think it's all set up for the last book in the series to be awesome.

Building up for a great finish

I was excited to see another Somnia Online book was out! With Murmur able to be out of the game, things get a little crazy. I was on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. I hope the next book isn't far behind!

Oh so good!

Once again Andrea hits it out of the park with her performance of KT"s books. The story is exactly as expected and continues to be a riveting adventure of a clumsy girl fighting her way through life and her friends and hopefully makes up for lost time with the best of her friends. If you're reading this review you should have no doubt the story and performance continues to be amazing as you clearly have read and listened to the others!

Excellence in a bottle

I'm really enjoying this series since getting past Anomaly bk2. The premise is solid, the writings excellent, and there's plenty of action. As an aside the story wouldn't be the same without Andrea Parsneau personal touch, her performance is par-excellent.
As Murmur and her team Fable dig deeper into the game to not only gain stats, but find out just how real Somnia Online is. While she tackles the question from the inside so to her mother, Laura one of the lead programmer is working on it from her office...

Ohhhh and here's a couple of quotes:

"Like glitter that wasn't really annoying."

"But rules weren't worth it, if they weren't to be bent with a sledgehammer."

Premise is solid, zactly what you're lookin for...

I love how this book has a new feel to it than the others in this series. The plot really picks up and you start to dive deeper into the characters. I can’t wait for the next one!

Unexpected ending that leaves you wanting more...

Really enjoying the series so far. Andrea really brings it to life. Cannot wait to see how it continues in the next book.

Darn cliffhanger lol

This one moves the plot along nicely and keeps you engaged and entertained throughout.
Narration is still really good.
I'm looking forward to the next in the series!

we get everything we expect from a K.T. Hannah and Andrea Parsneau book, fun, sadness, grinding and loot...
Andrea hits it out of the park as always.
my only complaint is that it ends on a cliffhanger which I hate

great continuation

I'm here for the group dynamics. The writing seems to have been going downhill for the past 3 books. There are several glaring errors that glaringly glare at me (example of poor writing). Honestly doesn't seem like there is an editing phase of these books. The author is also pushing feminist agenda ideals a lot harder in the last few books. I can stomach the few mentions in the first books of the series, but I'm honestly getting tired of it at this point. I listen to these books to get away from real world drama, and as far as I know, these books are not classified as femlit or whatever genre you'd read if you're into that kind of stuff. I don't mean to hate on the subject, I just don't want to be forced to listen to it.

Going downhill.

It's so infuriating that nobody even tries to resolve any of the issues going on, they don't even talk about trying to resolve any of the the issues. Characters just talk cryptically at each other for a bit and then one of the main issues boils over only for it to resolve itself or some random event happens to resolve it. Nobody seems to have any agency.

I've tried to finish this book several times and only make it another hour or so before putting to one side for a week. Dropped

nobody does anything to even try to fix the problems
