This has been the most helpful book I’ve read about IEPs so far. Not much flowery language and straight to the point. This book lists what can and should happen during an IEP meeting and what you can do about it. I loved this book so much I went and bought a hard copy so I can highlight favorite passages and things I need to remember. The reader talk a little fast and sometimes I found myself rewinding to catch a missed piece of information but I also found myself rewinding to cement information too.
I cannot recommend this book enough to anyone who finds themselves overwhelmed at the thought of what an IEP meeting is or how to shift the power balance when sitting in one.

A must read/listen for any parent of child with special needs

As I begin my journey in becoming a special education journey this book gives me the just in time information to start navigating the IEP world. I feel more equipped to start engaging in the IEP process and being an advocate for special needs students. The performance was great, it kept me engaged throughout.

Helpful book but references appendices & then says to buy kindle or print version to see them. It was not clear when purchasing audiobook that the purchase would be incomplete & one would need to duplicate the purchase to access the entire product.
