Publisher's summary

The central theme of this book is modesty, a notion so simple and common that most of us would dismiss it as irrelevant to our daily lives. But Rabbi Manis Friedman asks us to look again. And as we do he explains, clearly and succinctly, how modesty can become a powerful tool for change.

Gently and with humor, Rabbi Friedman helps us redirect our thinking about sexuality and refocus our ideas about intimacy. In so doing, he moves us toward a truer understanding of ourselves and how we can cope with the changing world around us.

Everything. it was well written, well read, and very informative and helpful. Thank you.

I liked everything. I particularly enjoyed and admired the authors wisdom. I, however, believe that it should be the woman's choice if she wants to be covered up from head to toe in garments, to be considered modest.

Simple message, profound applications

The Rabbi thoughtfully delivers a guide for us to take back and do some self examination to improve the quality of our lives, those around us, perhaps the whole world.

Kind, true and useful counsel for all ages

I enjoyed listening to Rabi Friedman. His voice is warm.. His use of biblical typology, his own life's examples, and stories make his words of righteousness easy to take, digest, and assimilate.

As a gift from a friend

My sweet bonus daughter gifted this little book to me and I listened to it in one sitting. Rabbi Friedman speaks in a way that o could hear the spirituality in the religion. Though I am not Jewish, It really made me think deeply on the subject of modesty and how our world is lacking it in this day and age and how it has affected my own intimate relationships.

I will certainly ponder more on the lack of modesty and boundaries for our relationships and how this creates confusion.

Excellent listen!

Enlightening and a much needed truth today

Rabbi Friedman is wise and makes so much sense! Modesty is not often discussed and should be, especially in religious circles where it can be nurtured and shared into the larger secular world. Care for our soul's sacred space means care for the bigger soul of the world.
