Sweet story!

If you could sum up Don't Give Up on Me in three words, what would they be?

I can identify.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Don't Give Up on Me?

When Beth planned the outing for herself and Alec, Paige did a great job of describing the setting and Alec's reaction.

What about Kathy Garner’s performance did you like?

The smooth flow, she is very understandable.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Give him a chance!

An okay light read

This is a light, nice and sweet romance. At times, I had a hard time staying with it; I’m not sure if it was the narration, the writing, or a combination of both, but sometimes it just didn’t flow very well. I received a review copy at my request and voluntarily reviewed.

A Wonderful Christmas Treat – All Year-Round 🎁

Beth is trying to find her place in life after her husband's tragic death. She decides to better herself through education and working for the local vet.

She meets Alec and fights the confusing emotions that this kind and handsome man churns up. Is she being disloyal to her former husband and their marriage? Will she push this "perfect" man away? Is he really perfect?

Kathy Gardner gives a near-perfect performance. 4 stars

This wonderful Christmas story that is good year-round. There is nothing to warn the reader about. Enjoy! I did.

Overall, 4.5 credit worthy stars

Cute Story

This is a nice story of someone giving herself a second chance at love. I would probably have enjoyed it more if it was read with more expression. Kathy Garner’s voice is very clear and has great potential. In this story she sounded disengaged, like it needed more expression, longer pauses here and there… Nothing that more practice won’t take care of.

I received this audio-book free for an honest review by the author, narrator, or publisher. Thank you!!!

ok story

first off- it is really short so there wasn't time for much development but i guess i just wasn't feeling this book. the H was a really super great guy but the h just wasn't nice really at all to him. the H just kept pursuing the h even though she wasn't that nice at all. Now there are reason's why but i guess i still didn't see the development, why the H liked her to begin with.

it is a sweet story- totally clean- with a HEA- which is a great thing.

Narration- well that may have been what really killed it for me. i couldn't get into this narrator. The inflection was off for me. It was not all that pleasing to listen to IMO.

Sweet Romance

This was a good, sweet romantic story. Though it started out with a tragedy it was a sweet romance that was uplifting in the end. Beth has lost her alcoholic husband and is apprehensive to begin dating. She meets Alec when he brings his injured dog into the clinic where she works. Alec is attracted to her and asks her out, however she declines. He is persistent, in a sweet way, and finally convinces Beth to go on a “friend date”. Their relationship develops slowly with Beth feeling insecure and moving a bit slower than Alec would like, though he is very sweet and patient about it. I found it a bit difficult to connect to Beth, however I really liked Alec. The dialogue seemed choppy to me and a little juvenile at times, however it didn’t take away from the sweet story, though it did have me rolling my eyes several times.
Kathy Garner has a pleasant voice that is easy to listen to. This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

A fun romance😊

Although this book begins with a tragedy, it mostly revolves around a young woman falling in love, finding herself, and building a future. It's fun, cheerful and uplifting. The narrator's warm voice and facility with dialogue added a great deal to the experience.

Interesting story

I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review. This was a sweet, cheesy love story. The guy is very persistent in his pursuit of the girl. He saw what he wanted and he allowed her to get to know him at her own pace. I loved the sweet way that they got together and turned what could have been sad into a happy story.
