Publisher's summary

Time travel doesn't require a machine with flashing lights, spinning dials, and a warp engine - in fact, you were born with the power to navigate the timestream. Impossible? Not with the help of Dr. Quantum!

The renowned "superhero of science" Fred Alan Wolf is back again, with Dr. Quantum Presents: Do-It-Yourself Time Travel. On this six-session audio journey down the wormhole of infinite possibility, Dr. Quantum provides you with the physics, insights, and practices you need to expand your power to journey through time and space.

Break free from the chains of linear time! "It may sound like science fiction," says Fred Alan Wolf, "but time travel is really not as far-fetched as you might think." Learning the basics of time travel does not require training - rather, it calls for un-training from our habit of thinking of time in the "normal", linear way.

In a modern age filled with clocks and calendars, we have limited our natural abilities to choose how we traverse time in our lives. With a few simple practices in the "Ancient Art of Cheating Time", Dr. Quantum helps you throw off the shackles of second-by-second clock time to help you vastly enhance the quality of each moment of your life.

But what about leaping into the future, hurtling back into the past, or peering into parallel realities? Fred Alan Wolf teaches you how to access these advanced powers of time travel through mastery of the Five Fluctuations. Once you become a time-traveling "tachyonaut", you not only learn the skill of slipping the timestream, you also take profound spiritual steps toward achieving liberation from the ego, connecting to the universal consciousness, and overcoming the fear of death.

Using a supercharged solution of cutting-edge science and mystical wisdom, Dr. Quantum provides everything you need to sail the river of time at will, instead of being carried along in its current. Team up with the champion of space-time on Dr. Quantum Presents: Do-It-Yourself Time Travel to unlock the time-warping "superpowers" of your own consciousness.

Your guide to DIY time travel.

First, Dr. Quantum is a masterful stroke of marketing from the What the Bleep movie series. T hat being said, the book is an extension of the movies. So if it had been written by Michael Kaku or Neil De Grasse Tyson, it would be a nuts and bolts book on what time is and how it operates. Since it was written by Fred Alan Wolfe, it is more aimed at the reader & how the reader interacts with time, and not on time, per se. It is aimed at using intention and has a more metaphysical feel to it, that you saw in the What the Bleep movies. It is a good book, not a great book, but a good book. How good? How much did you like the movies?

Dr. Wolf makes it all work

All I can say is if I'd had him as an instructor at any point in my life, I would have believed I could be a scientist. He explains everything in a way that makes it fun and applicable. He has a quick wit and a wonderful sense of humor. Most importantly, I now understand so much about time travel that I am ready to give it a try.

Save your money

This man does not understand relativity. Hearing this audio book is like listening to some drunken kook ramble about things he doesn't understand as he blathers on at the bar stool next to you.

It was obviously not read from a prepared text, the guy is just rambling, just winging it.

A complete mess.
