Automated narrator not enjoyable

As I was listening to this automated narrative or whatever they call it many of the normal highs and lows of pitch in a characters voice was missed. When a person should’ve been excited it wasn’t there when someone was supposed to speak softly it wasn’t there. I hate the fact that throughout the whole entire story, males and females all sound the same. At times I was confused at who was saying something. I had to rewind it and play it again. Please keep humans reading stories. They are always able to capture the true feelings and essence of a story.

The relationship

I truly enjoyed the series and the difference in personality between mates and dragons And especially the different backgrounds of the dragons and the mated ones

The story and characters are good.

Really do not like the AI telling the story. It doesn't make the story come to life, it just feels very bland and hard to follow. Would really love it to have a person or a group of people redo the books it would be a thousand times better and I would totally re-listen to the story.

AI read

I’m not a fan of the artificial voice. Inflection is wrong and words like lead (meaning to direct) were pronounced like lead (the metal). Kinda throws things off. Storyline was predictable after the first book, as the following stories are practically carbon copies. But it killed the time while I did housework.

Great stories but the Computer Voice Ruins the Experience.

There is nothing like a talented human reading to me. Computer generated speech doesn't give emotion or change its voice depending who is speaking. I was often confused and had to rewind to follow the narrative and story line. While the stories are engaging and well written, the performance detracted from my enjoyment.

AI Voice

The AI voice was to monotone. The same voice was used for male and females, and ran together.

Surprised

The story line was good I was captured by the concepts and were pretty cool.. if you can get past the AI voice, wasn’t the greatest but I got through it. I liked the books over all. They tie into one another which kept my interest. Try and ignore the AI voice and you might enjoy..

interesting stories, not a virtual voice fan

this was a good series with an interesting story that built across the series. I found myself not being able to stop listening. the downside was with the narration. I'm used to other books where the narrator did voices that simulated the characters. the virtual voice had very little emotion almost to the place of monotone. had I realized what it sounded like before starting I probably. would have passed.
