Set contains two full-length books and a novella! Book One: CHARMED AND DANGEROUS Apples and Oranges, dogs and cats, everybody knows witches and immortals don't mix. If you love witch romances, don't miss this action-packed read! A teenage witch, Callie, returns from exile after a traumatic Ouija board incident several years earlier. She falls for classmate James MacLauren and struggles to keep her magical abilities a secret from him. Then there's the even trickier problem that her rogue warlock father and his coven will kill anyone who prevents Callie from joining them in dark magic. Someone like James . . . But James has a secret of his own. He's part of a hidden race of immortals living in the Appalachian hollows and the last thing he needs in his life is a witch who could imprison him with a binding spell. It will take all of his superhuman physical strength, and all of Callie's extraordinary magical skills, to survive when two covens and an army of immortals engage in battle. Should they fail, they face either death or domination by the power of dark magic. Book Two: CHANGELING She thought she was a witch . . . she's more If you love witch romances, don't miss this action-packed read! Skye's a young witch who sucks at spells and works at a metaphysical store, The Green Fairy. Strange things are happening there at night: black specks of movement out of the corner of her eye, mysterious buzzing noises, unidentified dragonfly-like carcasses in the basement, and a hidden cache of absinthe (aka fairy crack). Kheelan is a human changeling. Raised with the fairies, he's viewed as an inferior species whose only use is to serve his kidnappers. When he meets Skye, he sees an opportunity to escape. The last thing he needs is to be distracted by feelings for this quirky witch. As Samhain, the witch's Halloween, draws near she must make a bold move to claim her heritage and power, restore order in the fairy realm, and try to win Kheelan's freedom and love. Absinthe, autism and augury meld into a paranormal cauldron where fairies are sly tricksters waiting to trap you in their Realm. Book Three: CHARMED BY THE SALEM WITCH Freshman Year can be deadly in Salem . . . At the Women’s College of Salem, Sarah hopes to meet like-minded students of The Craft. But after joining a coven, the other girls seem to have it in for her and she can’t figure out why . . . . . . until Tanner, the new, cute IT guy, helps uncover her family’s dark secret. Sarah will have to learn to trust Tanner if she’s to survive a killer freshman year. And Tanner must accept his paranormal powers to save Sarah when the blood moon rises at Samhain, the witch’s Halloween. Fantasy Paranormal Paranormal Romance Romance Magic Users Witchcraft

mehh...

Virtual voices have improved significantly over the years. This one wasn't horrible, but it's also not good. I got through half the box set before calling it quits. The story was decent but an "decent" story + less than average narration just wasn't cutting it.

Get a better actress to do the voiceover Work.

Most actors and actresses who do book audios can do several different voices to where you can tell the difference between characters. This actress did the same voice for every character. That may not seem like the biggest deal but in stories with quick dialogue, it becomes challenging to discern, what character said what. Also, she seemed challenged by giving pauses. One scene ran into another and would be five sentences in before you realized that the scene changed.

horrible accents but great story

I really enjoyed the story, they were nice relatively light romance novels not very steamy but the virtual voice was absolutely horrible when it came to pronunciations of common witchie words in the last book. the virtual voice also murdered the Scottish and irish accents and words in the 2nd book

I tried to enjoy the story.

The IA narration with mispronunciations, strange pauses, and jerky phraseology was extremely distracting. It was hard to follow the storyline when you’re focusing so hard to understand what’s being said.

Story line was good but the virtual voice was terrible. I guess after listening to this I prefer a real person reading to me!!
