About this listen

A heart-stopping military thriller from Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell–betrayed, hunted and disavowed, Sam Fisher’s toughest mission has just begun

Inside North Korea, veteran Fourth Echelon agent Sam Fisher finds himself on the run when a top-secret covert mission goes fatally wrong. Betrayed by his allies, hunted by his adversaries, and disavowed by his own agency, Sam is stranded deep inside hostile territory–and his only chance of survival is to uncover a murderous plot that reaches into the heart of the hermit state, and beyond. Meanwhile, Fisher’s estranged daughter Sarah risks everything to assemble an off-the-books effort to find her missing father before his luck runs out–but the conspiracy that framed Sam goes deeper than either of them realize…

The story was pretty good and tied in lively with the other media, the downfall to me was focusing on other characters journeys more than Sam.

Hate seeing main characters side lined

It’s hard not to get into a Splinter Cell story. This one was enjoyable, I enjoyed the tie in of Nomad from the Ghost Recon world.

Always love a Sam Fisher story

This is a great listen. I really enjoyed it. Sam and Sarah Fisher are both so bad*ss. The family "dynamic", between father and daughter makes you care about more than just the action.

Really good

As a fan of splinter cell. I was so disappointed in this book and the previous book. who knew that someone would destroy the universe

Embarrassment to splinter cell

I give credit to any author who is able to write and publish a book, but this book lacked all credibility. The characters are one dimensional superheroes who depend on too many lucky breaks to survive their enemies. Two Americans defeat North Korean villains in North Korea. Poorly written narrative and characters with an implausible story line.

Implausible and convoluted story line.
