It’s Honest

Mega Ran set out to be honest, inspirational, true to himself, and to not compromise his vision. It’s beautiful.

Absolutely worth the listen

This book delivered on so many levels. Raheem leaves no stone unturned in recounting his journey from growing up in Philly, to how he became Random and transitioned to Mega Ran.

So many poignant moments, lots of laughs, and a few heart wrenching tales. This man has had a rollercoaster of a life and it was a fun ride to hear.

My favorite parts of the books are when he delves into some of the stories behind the lyrics he wrote for many of his songs. You know of the man, now actually get to know him as he takes you down an unadulterated look into his life. Definitely worth multiple listens!

A Must Read!

Just a couple of years ago I was introduced to Mega Ran and his music by a coworker! I never heard nerd rap before but I instantly adopted it! I got to meet him for the first time and witness his performance! I knew from there he’d have my support! This year I got to meet him again and had a fan moment when he complimented me on my shirt the states “Read!” When purchasing a new shirt from his collection and CD, without a second thought I grabbed his first book! I enjoyed listening to his book and how he narrates! He has brought reality to his journey by sharing personal stories and what he was doing during a few history milestones and injustice events. I can’t for the next book! Thank you so much for this Mr. Jarbo!

Inspirational

I enjoyed this book from start to finish. Im no longer just a fan of his music but his life. I understand what makes Megaran a likeable and relatable artist. I caught myself many times saying me too, no pun intended. This guy created an entire sub genre of Hip Hop, that's monumental.

An inspirational tale of prosperity and perseverance from Philly to Phoenix

If you have ever been a fan, friend, or family of Raheem Jarbo aka Mega-Ran the person and his music you owe it to yourself to read, listen, and learn from his path and find out how this man was able to accomplish his dreams while also getting through many relatable trials, tribulations, and moments in history.

A great book that not only chronicles his life but also events that occurred during some important aspects of Philly and the US.

A highly recommended book for anyone thinking that they can’t. This book will let you know you can.

Dream Master is an inspiring story about an artist who never stopped betting on himself. I've been a fan of Mega Ran for a long time and this book gives a whole new context to his albums and live performances. It's a must-read for any hip-hop fan or aspiring artist.

Time to shine like Raheem

I feel like I got a new big brother after this book. I also have a new regret: not pursuing my dreams like Mega Ran. Let's do something about that.
