Publisher's summary

You have entered the mist-shrouded realm of Ravenloft, where you attract the attention of Count Strahd, who decides to make you one of his vampire spawn. After awakening to find yourself alone within the walls of Castle Ravenloft, you must figure out how to escape the vampire lord's Gothic lair before you are doomed to become his slave for all time. Keep your wits about you, cleric. Welcome to the Forgotten Realms Endless Quest.

You are about to embark on a journey. To where, only you could possibly say. It is not a journey like any you have been on before, where you start at the beginning and continue on a straight course until you reach the end. Instead, you will be presented with many choices along the way. Each time you are faced with one such choice, given to you by your narrator, make your decision from the options that are given and then follow the directions to continue your adventure. Once your quest has come to an end, either favorably or, as I'm afraid in some instances it is foretold, gruesomely, return to the beginning of the track or the last choice and try again.

"Awful, not happy at all with this one"

Despite the great narrators, there is no saving this book. Couldn't finish. Skip this one.

Dont' Do it

This is not good. The writing is good and it was nice to hear Castle Ravenloft brought alive, or undead as it were, by this narrator, but that's where it ends.

The choices presented give no clue what so ever on which is the right choice. It is basically luck. If you want to hear Castle Ravenloft come alive with a one dimensional character, then listen to it front to back and don't try to skip chapters with your choices. It was terribly frustrating to try. Some paths you go down had no way to correct yourself and once the narration started on a choice I often found myself saying, "If I knew that I wouldn't have picked this way."

This had the potential to be very enjoyable but it failed. I think they writer could have written a good short story that would have been way better than this instead of trying to make a playable options book.
