About this listen

He is Boba Fett, the most feared and successful bounty hunter in the galaxy, and even the most hardened criminals tremble at his name. Now he faces the deadliest challenge of his infamous career: an all-out war against his most dangerous enemies.

As the Rebellion gathers force, Prince Xizor proposes a cunning plan to the Emperor and Darth Vader: smash the power of the Bounty Hunters Guild by turning its members against each other. Only the strongest and most ruthless will survive, and they can be used against the Rebellion. It's a job for the fiercely independent Boba Fett, who jumps at the chance to destroy his rivals. But Fett soon realizes the murderous factions, criminal conspiracies, and the evil at the Empire's dark heart. Boba Fett has always finished first. And in this game, anything less is death.

There’s a universality to the Star Wars franchise, a world so sprawling that no matter who you are, you’re bound to find something—an adventure, a moment, a character—that resonates with you. And if you were to ask any fan, they’d likely be able to recount a memory directly tied to the series. On a 2021 journey from the East Coast to the Outer Rim, one Audible editor and Star Wars superfan saw all of her wildest, most interstellar dreams become reality.

Voice actor did a good job with using different voices for the characters, but the story itself felt like the first part of a book rather than a complete story that leads into another one. Also didn't feel like there was much going on with Boba Fett as much as other characters talking about him.

Basically just the first part of a story

Good Book

Boba Fett is one of the most renowned SW characters, despite his lack of presence on the big screen. this look into events that occurred after, despite being Legends at this point, still offered a solid adventure of one of the galaxy's most dangerous beings.

Loved it!!

the only issue I had with the audible version of this book is that, at times, the background sound effects were so loud that you couldn't hear the narrator.

Good book

I really enjoyed this audiobook with all of the added audio and special effects, it felt every bit as good as a movie. There were just one or two moments when the sound effects overpowered the dialogue but honestly, the same happens during a movie so I wasn’t that bothered. You could piece together what was said from context. Definitely high recommendation from me

Excellent Bounty Hunter fare

Although I am a big fan of Star Wars, I have not read all the books, comics etc. So there is alot of back story to discover. Boba Fett is one of the best characters. Even delivering a serious appearence in the Legacy of the Force series (which I highly recommend), The Bounty Hunter series is a fantastic addition to my library. Most of the story spread across the New Hope and Return of the Jedi timeline.

The character development, and narration of the book is fantastic.

Good beginning to a 3 part series.
Narration could be better though, other starwars audio books have great sound effects and the voices of characters are much better and easier to tell apart. But this story is good.

Good over all
