Publisher's summary

The Manual You Should Have Been Given When You Were Born is not like any other body book you've ever experienced. It's about functioning with your body from the perspective of beingness. It explores how you, as an infinite being, can experience greatness with your body. "What if your body were an ongoing source of joy?"

This audiobook may go against everything you've ever thought, everything you've been taught, everything you've read, and everything you have brought that everyone else believes. It doesn't claim to give you all the answers. Instead, it will encourage you to ask the questions that will allow you to enjoy the body you currently have and to create your body so you can truly enjoy it.

Life changing

First of all, the narration is great and even though it’s not Dr Dain’s voice, the narrator speaks in a similar cadence a lot of the time so it’s easier to use your imagination to hear Dr. Dain in your head instead, if that’s important to you. Content-wise, for me, it’s 100% brilliant 100% of the time. I’ve read a lot of “self-improvement” books and eventually I got to a place where I couldn’t find any books to get me to a level further than I’d already achieved. This was that - and the next level is tenfold compared to what traditional self improvement content provides and offers. AND it validates a lot of thoughts/beliefs/ideas I had picked up on but haven’t heard anywhere else before which helped empower me to trust my very different understanding of life than what I was told it was in my upbringing and experience thus far. Before listening I was stuck in bed most the time recovering from a serious illness. That same day I finished the book I had so much energy I went out with friends and performed and danced, and played, and honestly - it’s been only a few days since reading this book but I can honestly say that I know the way I know I love my husband (that feeling where you just KNOW): I will never be as limited as I’ve allowed myself to be again.

Concise Instructions for Accessing Consciousness

An interesting and sometimes funny way to evolve my outlook on life. My body found it very satisfying with practices that will make embodiment complete.

The narrator was really good and made listening effortless.

Seriously the best book I've ever found

This book blew my mind with the incredible ways he suggests about viewing life and our bodies. The performance of Connor Hill as narrator was just fantastic, fun and casual, he just made it so easy to listen to. I laughed so many times throughout this book all while having my perspectives opened in such interesting and expansive ways. HUGE recommendation for this book !!!
