Sage: Born into the secret organization Venom, my only mission was to help eradicate the virus that turns humans into vampires. My first night in the field I killed a bloodsucker, causing his vengeful brother to stalk me, arrogantly playing with his food before the final kill. Being terrorized by Luka was stressful enough, but when information about my organization is revealed, I struggle with my own moral code. With help from him and some other supernatural enemies, we begin to uncover secrets my society is hiding.

Story
Who are we...really? As depression and addiction become more commonplace in today’s culture, it seems we have lost sight of who we actually are. Like a whale on a beach, too many of us are finding ourselves breathing shallow, feeling stranded and alone. The truth is we can cut free from the things that hold us back if we can catch a clear vision of the true character of God. And like a mighty redwood tree, we can choose to live healthy lives filled with purpose, rising confidently above the chaos.

Story
Guy Montag is a fireman. In his world, where television rules and literature is on the brink of extinction, firemen start fires rather than put them out. His job is to destroy the most illegal of commodities, the printed book, along with the houses in which they are hidden. Montag never questions the destruction and ruin his actions produce, returning each day to his bland life and wife, Mildred, who spends all day with her television "family."

Johnnie Rico never really intended to join up—and definitely not the infantry. Putting on paper things we won’t say out loud.
I listened to this Audiobook and I truly enjoyed the whole thing.
My absolute favorite was the 'Letters to My Ailments'.
The letters were so relatable and funny.
The narrator's voice was comforting and easy to listen to.
I loved everything and I'm not usually a fan of poetry.
Thank you for writing this and putting yourself out there.
You put on paper, what we are all too scared to voice out loud ourselves.

Deep thoughts
What a beautiful collection of thoughts and emotions that I could completely relate to. You can tell the author was writing as a form of expressing her feelings that she had been perhaps compressing for awhile. I could feel the emotion. The narrator was very good. I thought some parts were a little dry but overall very good.
