One of my top 10 books of all time

I love this book. I love that Louvean was a strong character and very straight forward. So many books I've read have this push and pull thing and I just hate that. I listened to this book from start to finish in one day...i couldnt stop. A good love story, good characters, good villains and a good book all around - spend the credit on it. Its worth it! Oh my forest king!

Not a tame Beauty and the Beast retelling

This is one of my favorite Beauty and the Beast retellings.. I have read the book maybe half a dozen times over the past decade.

There are two beauties who each must love their own beast. There is grit, struggle, pain, violence, evil roses, and a lovely balm of tenderness woven into this tale.

The narrator provided plenty of emotion and variety to each character, which I am grateful for.

If you love retellings of Beauty and the Beast, and don't mind foul language, softly described intimacy, and mild violence, you'll enjoy this book.

Entreat Me

Grace Draven has become one of my favorite fantasy romance authors. She is definitely someone I would 1-click in a heartbeat. Entreat Me is one of the best if not the best Beauty and Beast retelling I've ever read or listened to. Oh my! The narration was AWESOME! There is nothing negative I could say about the narrator because she was spot on with every character's voice, and her narration enhanced the story. Entreat Me was already a beautiful story, but the narration made it come to life in ways I couldn't imagine.

I'm wondering why did I wait so long to listen to this book; why did I only discover Draven a year ago? She's a master storyteller, and I love how she writes romantic relationships. They have none of the agony of dragging out the conflict between male and female characters. I love that her characters develop a friendship and discuss the deep issues of their heart. I could go on and on about this book, but all I can say is it's FANTASTIC and EXCELLENT!

Fantastic Read!!!

**Spoilers** This book was absolutely fantastic for 90% of it. The characters were all amazing and had distinct individual personalities. The romance between Lou and Ballard was electric. You couldn't help but cheer for them. However, the ending felt rushed. I am still not sure why the curse was broken. I'm glad it was, but I don't know what the reasoning was? Because he got hurt? I also felt that Lou's magical abilities could have been explored more. I guess I just wanted to enjoy a happy ending more, be in the moments after the curse was broken and experience Ballard and company adjusting back to a normal life.

Engrossing

The characters are strong, the story is engrossing, and it had amusing banter. Narration was good. My only issue was difficulty in the beginning of being able to tell what time period the current chapter was in. Perhaps this was by design, but it made the story confusing. Once I was able to figure out what was going on, I found the audiobook to be well worth a credit.

Very Good!

I enjoyed every minute of it! A hint of beauty and the beast but a completely different story line and much more fun and adult.
