Explore the captivating life of Erik the Red.

A formidable figure with flaming red hair, a wild beard, and a temper to match is not the type of person most people would choose to cross swords with. And that, by all accounts, is a fitting description of Erik the Red. This was not a man to be taken lightly or challenged in battle. He was courageous on the battlefield, an accomplished seafarer, indomitable warrior, and unstoppable adventurer. In short, Erik the Red was everything we imagine a Viking to be.

Some of the topics covered in this audiobook include:

  • Erik the Red’s early life in Norway
  • The settlement of Iceland and the Viking Age
  • Erik’s early years in Iceland

Fascinating how Erik the Red was called as that. I got a good summary here of his discoveries and how he colonized Greenland. While the man was like prone to dangers, it’s amazing how he has turned it all into his benefits.

This is fascinating!

I will give the fifth star because there are different writing styles, and these distract the focus on the very interesting story of Erik the Red. Otherwise, you have to listen to this AUDIObook.

I dig this book! I listened to it while I was travelling to another town and boy, did I got so interested. Now I know why he is so-called as the controversial Viking. This piece was written with action that I didn’t have a boring moment at all.

I dig this!

This has summarized in detail how Erik the Red became one of the Arctic’s most famous explorers. Will be recommending this to my son as his guide for the paper he’s constructing.

Nice touch.

I don't have time to think about being a critic. I'm completely immersed in the world of the characters. It's like watching an extremely talented actor.
