Publisher's summary

Love don't cost a thing . . . except everything.

When billionaire mogul James Preston hires an escort as a date for his brother's wedding, he knows he's taking a risk. But he won't be taking the escort's clothes off. He just wants a date—not a girlfriend. Not a relationship. No strings. No ties. No games. No sex. He has his reasons. He lost someone he loved, and isn't interested in trying again. Too many opportunities for mistakes or worse, heartbreak.

Audrey Reynolds became a high-end escort to keep her brother in his expensive group home. James Preston is the client of her dreams—he's offering to pay her more money for two weeks than she's ever made before. But James is . . . difficult. He's gorgeous, troubled and all too human for Audrey's business-like tastes. Determined to complete her assignment and collect the money, Audrey tries to play by James's rules.

But when Audrey ends up in James's bed, he realizes that she's everything he's wanted . . . and everything he's been running from.

Contains mature themes.

Such a cute story

This was my first Leigh James book, and I was pleasantly surprised. Loved the love story of the three couples.

James and Audrey 🔥

I enjoyed this story of two people coming together in a short time discovering happiness when neither thinks they deserve it. James is looking for a no strings attached escort to his brother's wedding. Audrey knows up front that this arrangement is strictly business and not to get attached. For the two weeks they are together they realize their attraction both physical and emotional and no strings attached may not be as easy as they thought. James comes from a wealthy family and Audrey has had to struggle to pay rent and for her brother's care. They come from two completely different backgrounds and their mothers will not make it easy for them. I like that James stands firm in his feelings for Audrey and will not let anything or anyone get in the way. The narration was wonderful!

Eh…

Pretty Woman retold. Predictable. Very predictable. The dialogue was cheesy, the characters were very back and forth with their changing attitudes and the way-too-fast relationship. I’m all for instalove - I like that trope but the guy went from grumpy to in love in a heartbeat very early in the story.

I also thought the back stories were predictable (do you see a theme here?) and poorly thought out.

Sorry, not a fan. The narrators did a decent job though, so there’s that. They couldn’t save the book though.

Didn’t like it

Didn’t like this one. Both MCs sucks and so immature. They both was so contradicting that it gave me whiplash. I’m all about instant love but these two took on a whole new level. I cannot stand them which made it hard to finish this story. I skipped so many parts bc I cannot stand them. I choose this bc I enjoy listening to Mr Hobbs. Female reader was good but hated when she whispered. Sometimes she spoke slow and low. It was hard to listen to her at times.

Over the top

I felt like I was in a ping pong match. I was actually tearful for the first part of book, it’s not the most heart warming story. Then they declared love for 5 mins before another angsty roller coaster started.
I started skipping past the last part- too much angst. Performance was well done. Overall it was just the storyline and the length

Escorting The Billionaire

My first 🎧book from this author and it was a good storyline “Pretty Women” style too bad the narration was all off. It’s so important to choose the correct narrators to convey your story so that the listeners have a great experience. I must say I loved that it ended with HEA. Is it worth the credit? It’s a maybe for me…I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it.
