About this listen

Award-winning author Steven Gould returns to the world of his classic novel Jumper in Exo, the sequel to Impulse, blending the drama of high school with world shattering consequences.

Cent can teleport. So can her parents, but they are the only people in the world who can. This is not as great as you might think it would be - sure, you can go shopping in Japan and then have tea in London, but it's hard to keep a secret like that. And there are people, dangerous people, who work for governments and have guns, who want to make you do just this one thing for them. And when you're a teenage girl things get even more complicated. High school. Boys. Global climate change, refugees, and genocide. Orbital mechanics.

But Cent isn't easily daunted, and neither are Davy and Millie, her parents. She's going to make some changes in the world.

I can’t get enough of this author’s work. Love his writing. The entire jumper idea with jumping and actually helping NGOs and then dealing with the govt. I love it all. I want more.

Love the jumper series.

Great Book. Much better than the high school drama that the last book was. Lots of space talk and science but the author definitely knew his stuff.

I have reread this one multiple times, and each time I wish it would keep on going.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Exo?

Loved the ISS scenes and the original launch in Texas.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. Listened to it late into the night. Didn't want to turn it off.

Any additional comments?

Listened to this book multiple times. One of the best YA novels that I've ever read. Recently watched the movie Gravity and couldn't help but imagine Cent making a rendezvous with Sandra Bullock and rescuing her.

Best of the series

Learned more about space and the obstacles to overcome it,through the eyes of your not too average teenage Space girl.

Focusing on the daughter,again.

I read so many book where every few pages the people are in life or dead situation. Or something from the past comes back to show you that person can't be happy. This book is light in that aspect. For the most part everyone is happy and moving forward in life. Is there conflict. Yes! But most of it I don't have to worry about everyone's death. Next book I worry will be more conflict.

Less conflict is ok sometimes!

This is a story I will have the joy of returning to time after time. It is a keeper. Exciting and well written.

Eco by Steven Gould, was a wonderful.

I enjoyed it. decent finish if a bit patchy on the action. The fun comes mostly from nerding out over the idea of being in space
