About this listen

From USA Today Bestselling Author Brynne Asher...

One day, I was chugging along at life as a wedding planner. The next, I’m a confidential informant and fake engaged to the grumpiest DEA agent on earth.

Hit the brakes. Let’s back up.

You know those sappy made-for-TV movies where the leading lady gets the unsuspecting knock on the door and is the beneficiary of a massive inheritance?

That’s me. I’m that heroine.

My name is Goldie Carter, and inheriting The Pink—one of the most historic and grandest estates in Miami—would be a dream come true for any gal, but especially me.

I’m a true romantic. I believe in soul-wrenching love so deep, to have it ripped away would physically hurt.

But I’m still waiting for my prince charming.

And life isn’t so golden at the moment.

Money, greed, and cartels have a way of forcing love to the backburner when a surprise half-brother rears his ugly head.

Enter Kingston Jennings, Special Agent for the DEA—and quite possibly the crankiest man I’ve ever met.

That’s how I got to where I am right now.

Fake engaged.

And falling in love.

Little did I know, I don’t need a prince charming.

I need a King.

LOVED King and Goldie’s romance in audio!!

Did I think this book would be even better in audio? Absolutely! Exposed by Brynne Asher was a wild, suspenseful, and spicy ride from start to finish. Rose Dioro and Jason Clarke perform this audiobook in dual narration, and these two are simply PERFECTION as Goldie and King. Rose’s soothing, melodic tone conveyed Goldie’s reluctance and strength as she learned to trust and let her heart fall for Kingston Jennings. Jason’s deep, growly timbre encompassed King’s surly, persistent, and protective demeanor making this man utterly irresistible. Plus, Rose’s character voice for Aunt Trippy had me grinning while Jason’s portrayal of all four agent fella’s sparring banter had me rolling. Both narrators, also had me blushing with all the swoony moments. Simply put, I could not have loved this audiobook more!

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a suspenseful romance with a hunky protective DEA agent, a feisty event planner turned confidential informant, a wedding planning meet cute, a fake wedding, catching an infamous drug cartel, dancing with Aunt Trippy, loyal DEA agents, secrets, danger, shower spice, running away, found family dinners, intimate conversations, speaking your truths, facing your past, and a HEA that will expose your heart to love, then you will love Goldie and King’s story. I always look forward to more from Brynne Asher.

Absolutely riveting

What a masterful blend of thrilling and riveting suspense, swoon, love, witty banter, intense passion, spice, humor, and criminal intrigue!
King and Goldie are a match made in romantic suspense lovers heaven, and Exposed is simply unputdownable.
I loved catching up with all of my favorite “agents”; and seeing King and Goldie navigate the dangerous road to their happily ever after was an epic rollercoaster of emotions!
The narration by Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro is phenomenal, it adds an extra dimension to this titillating adventure.
I wholeheartedly recommend Exposed to anyone who enjoys a superb romantic thriller!

Goldie & King have my favorite story yet!

This series has been so good to listen to, and this book has been my favorite so far! Jason Clarke and Rose Dioro have delicious chemistry in this dual narration. They each bring so much to the male and female characters in this story. Jason has nailed the stoicism and solidarity of the DEA agents, and also gives them each such distinct characterizations. The text convos made me laugh out loud. And Rose as Goldie is my favorite; she is fierce and feisty yet tender and just wanting her own happy ending.

I really love the premise of “we have to pretend that we are getting married to protect you as our cover” trope and King takes this “vow” seriously. Goldie plays her part well too; though some of the details they construct for their “story” are sweet yet slightly comical. As they spend more time together the chemistry is palpable and I dare say this is a delicious “he falls first” story that had me swooning.

Outstanding! ❤️

Ahhh King! So sexy and protective he makes me swoon! This book kept a dramatic pace and had me enthralled the whole way through. I loved how Goldie was strong and independent while her life was being crapped on by the cartel. Big bad DEA agent King stepped in with his own agenda and unintentionally turned her world upside down. And finally, the ending! It was heart-stopping!!! I think this may be my favorite out of the Agents series although I’ve loved them all.
Narration was spot on of course. Jason and Rose never fail to bring the story to life.

I love this series

This series has been such a great extension to the Killers series (but you don’t have to listen to that series first.) I love the cameos of the CIA characters from that series because it just creates this tight knit community of strong brave men meeting their one weakness, the women they fall for. The relationship the guys have with each other is truly special as well. Brynne does a phenomenal job at drawing you into these dangerous professions and making you swoon with the love and determination of these characters. Jason and Rose have been so spectacular at bringing each of these characters to life. This is a dual narrated audiobook and both of these narrators do opposing gender voices so well.
