I loved every bit of this book. My favorite part is the relationship building going on between the characters and how they handle the challenges thrown at them. Plus anything with Vanessa Moyan narrating is going to be killer!

It took me a few chapters to be drawn in! I liked how the book progressed and how the characters evolved! I loved the female narrator and thought the guy was ok wasn’t my favorite but still good all the same! I liked the dynamic between the characters but I’m still hoping for Aubrey and Easton he was my favorite. I can’t wait for book 2!!

I enjoyed listening to Fae Captive. I was given an audio version for review. All opinions are my own.
Fae Captive follows the Faery Princess who works as an enforcer for their justice system. Aubrey is bratty and has a serious attitude problem. When is kidnapped by shifters, her own parents don't want her back. Meanwhile, she has found a ate bond is the least possible of places.
There's a lot of sex in this book. It doesn't bother me. I thought the sub/dom was a tad overplayed but overall it's quite steamy.
When not focused on sex, Aubrey starts to learn that nothing is as it seems in her world and the race struggle within it. This is a great parallel of today's issue and I hope further books look more into those themes.
My only gripe is that books continue to treat women who like sex as two things: the virgin who goes crazy after losing her virginity and the other is the bitchy woman who craves sex. YOu hardly ever see normal women who like sex.
The narration was great! Each voice works well with the characters and tone and inflection was great at distinguishing with other characters.
I look forward to see what happens next.

Fae Captive by Elle Middaugh and Ann Denton is the beginning of a great storyline. You are given multiple POVs and the narrators Vanessa Moyen and Zachary Johnson bring the various characters to life. They did an excellent job.
Would I listen to this book again? yes, absolutely
Would I recommend this book to others? Yes and already have. The team of authors and narrators is definitely in the top 10 of teams.

I was pleasantly impressed with this book. There's a lot more behind the story than just paranormal reverse harem. There's a lot of action, conspiracy, steamy thoughts, and a bit of steamy action. But, FYI, there is no reverse harem steam in this one. I can only assume it will heat up more in the next book.
The narrators do a pretty good job, but be warned, the male narrator is really good at being angry.
