About this listen

Kanti had spent many sleepless nights torturing himself with thoughts of the day when he would give up on returning to Tish. Old and grey, back-stooped from decades of labor, he would try to get up out of bed, and change his mind. Why bother?

He couldn’t have been more wrong.

He was still young, his pelt still tanned, and his back didn’t hurt when he rose. Everything had conspired to keep the two lovers apart: rivals, foes, distance. Now, he needs his friends’ help more than ever if he wants his old life back.

A fitting end

Conclusions are hard. How do you tie up so many plot lines while still exploring new topics? This book right here is how you do it.

Luterman takes what he built in Small world and expertly weaves a long narrative about what you would do to get back to the one you love. Stealing, lying, murder? The story never has time to settle and get stale, instead, it goes in directions frequently. Many I wasn't expecting. Each time the setting changed had me hooked, wondering what would happen next. I enjoyed the sense of adventure this story brought to the series and the interesting social it topics explored.

Prepare yourself for an emotional, wild ride.

I don't know how you could listen to the other two books and not be in love with Piers Ryman's narration. This book is no different.

excellent

I Could not stop listening!
A great continuation to Kanti's adventure, and the best voice acting I've ever heard.

best of the three possibly

this author has a way of drawing you completely into the story. I felt every emotion under the sun while I read this. I literally cried. I held my breath. I cheered! I even cringed some. it even kicked my anxiety up! I think these are all signs of a good writer. and the characters. oh my. connected with them immediately. the details of what the characters were going through were very well-thought-out.

Even as an Audio book

So far these books have been my favorite to read and listen to this far. The V.A. Piers definitely sold the characters and did them justice in maintaining verisimilitude. While listening to the performance in chapter 55 it had me so enthralled by the narration with the tone that my inner voice didn't get when I read the paperback copy.

One day I hope to read and listen another book that may continue Kanti's journey and growth!

Strong Frontrunner

Fair Trade is easily seated in the top tier of Hayven Celestia stories. Continuing from the creative direction used in Small World, gre7g Luterman expands further what planetside life is like away from the White Flower II. The story features a huge cast of characters, all with their own quirks and backstories, occasionally breaking the mold of what would be expected of an archetype. It's a well paced, enjoyable ride from start to finish. And as usual, Piers Ryman was amazing with their narration. I highly recommend this story to anybody who wants to see some ingenuity and integrity he focussed on improving everyday lives.

Amazing book to end an epic series

Kanti goes through so much in his quest to get back to his mate. His trials would have broken most people but he's definitely not the giving-up sort. This book (and the whole series) was quite an emotional rollercoaster ride. It's rare that I get so emotionally involved in a fictional character's ordeals. Both Gre7g's writing and Piers Ryman's narration worked so well together to really bring the characters to life.

It’s true poetry

I’ll keep it short but knowing on how villain was taking everything from the hero made me feel heartbroken especially knowing that he died. But I feel proud that the hero came back and enter a world of adventure, friendship, love and yet he still wanted to return to his family.

Good job Saquel he is truly hateful character.

You definitely made a point on “what goes around comes around” someone who tried to take everything only to lose it all, can’t wait to see more.

Great Conclusion to Kanti Story

I loved it. This book concludes Kanti's amazing adventures and the most thrilling story in the trilogy. I was on the edge of my seat rooting for good guys. Beautifully written story full of ups and downs was made more amazing by talented narration. I am a fan of this narrator, but I was even more impressed with his work telling this story. This was a perfect listening experience.

Fantastic conclusion to the Kanti Cycle

I will admit I was nervous going into this one but at the end of the day this book delivered. I couldn't put it down and listened to it over the course of 3 days. If you already have read up to book 2 then this is a easy pick up. If you are seeing this and curious bout the series I would suggest starting it. I think you will not be disappointed.

The narrator is fantastic once again and I very much so hope the Author continues to work with Piers Ryman moving forward.
