About this listen

Fairy godmothers who mean business!

The Beechwood Inn for paranormal beings is opening its doors once again, and the first event following the hiatus is a fairy godmother conference.

When the godmothers arrive, I expect them to bust out their knitting projects and sip tea, while they swap recipes and sweet stories of their cherubic charges. So, when the sitting room turns into a defensive magic combat zone and a boot camp style obstacle course is erected in the manor's backyard, I'm more than a little thrown off.

Then the curse gets unleashed.

It's all hands—and paws—on deck, if we have a chance of saving the inn from the ravages of the strange and deadly magic.

Luckily for me, I just mastered how to levitate a feather. So, I should totally be able to save the day.

It's Like Going Home Again

Well, it is if you are a magical creature, but it is truly amazing that Danielle Garrett has once again conjured a captivating series and cast of characters at Beechwood Manor/Inn, deftly weaving old and new characters into fresh stories that entertain. I love Blair and look forward to learning more about her as she learns about her history and her magic. Adam and Holly's kids add a compelling touch of child-like wonder and joy that brings a chuckle or a smile. Amanda Ronconi does an excellent job voicing the characters, and I cannot wait for the next book in Blair's story.

Loved it

Danielle Garrett has created another great
book/audiobook I the Magic Inn Paranormal Mysteries series. All the characters are present that were present in the original book, and another mystery could also be found.
Amanda Ronconi, as always, gave a stellar performance as she breathed life into the storyline and gave each character their own distinct voice.
I highly look forward to the next book/audiobook to come.

Good addition to the series.

Here we get to see the inner workings of the fairy Godmother world and all is not happy or sunshine with rainbows. We see what it takes to be a fairy godmother along with what people will do to become one or leave. We follow the latest character to join the series as she begins to learn magic and learns how to be a cat. They also begin to help solve the mysteries of the manor. This book was written in 2023 and I hope that means this storyline is just beginning because this book leaves everything open for much more to come. I don’t want to spoil anything for people, but there are some revelations in this book which would make some juicy gossip for a certain ghost!

Isn't a bad book in the bunch

I'm now addicted to all Danielle Garrett books. They're all fantastic, addictive and immersive I can't wait for the next books in every single series she's got! They are just too much fun with a few laugh out loud moments tossed in here and there.

Fairy Hijinks

Love this series and this doesn't disappoint! Lots of fairy dust and shenanigans. Holly and the crew always show us a good time.

Not many authors can make me laugh out loud!!

I find myself laughing out loud a few times in each of her books. I also tear up when I feel the characters happiness or sadness.
The choice of narrators isn’t lost on me either. Amanda is great with audiobooks and I often seek her out. The voice of the actor can make or break a good book. Flapjack totally needs a small cameo in every book. He’s the perfect mix of adorable and dark humor!
I cleared every book in the beechwood universe this month and I still want more! I’m also seriously considering googling real life towns like Beechwood Harbor!
Small older towns with all the seasons, beaches and forests are my ideal retirement destination!!

Love the series

I love all the beechwood harbor series, but when is Adam going to grow up and start calling people, especially his wife by their names instead of trying to be a cute 12 year old and using nicknames. It is annoying and not cute at all.

Slow to Grow....

Similar to the first book, I feel like we haven't really entered the core of the mystery enough. It feels like a lot of prequel and not enough forward progress.
